there are not enough words to describe this jewel. we have come for 16 years and everytime more special than the next. today's lunch. wow. must go. beautiful inside and out.
Best service and excellent food. We ate somewhere different the next evening and it didn’t even come close to the food or service at Cru!
Always excellent food and Kara was awesome!!
This place is busy, but if you can snag a reservation it's well worth it. Food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. And if you eat at the bar you get to have friendly chats with the kitchen staff.
Such a cute house made into a restaurant with outdoor seating under the trees. Nice lunch menu and interesting dinner. Ate lunch here but if had time would have gone again. A reservation is a must.
Cru Cafe is a short walk from the Marketplace area but in a quiet section of downtown. We wanted outdoor seating and they have a lovely patio and seating on the porch. There is a small area for inside dining. We had the pork chop which was cooked perfectly, pork schnitzel and grilled shrimp. All had high reviews and was enjoyed. We topped it off with a strawberry shortcake and even though we were full, we ate it all. They have a very nice wine and drink list as well. The staff were delightful. We would definitely recommend eating at Cru!
Quaint restaurant in an old home. We ate outside under a canopy and it was very nice. Server, Dakota, was lots of fun. Food was good and we enjoyed the ambience.
Ate outside on the patio and had a nice lunch. The menu is limited, but is good. Make a reservation or you might have a long wait for a table as the place is very popular.
Let’s start with the service. We showed up on time and had to knock to get someone to open the restaurant. We were ignored for a minute or two then ushered to our table where menus were tossed on the table. From that moment it appeared as if the waitress was in a competition to turn the table as quick as possible. The good news? The fried green tomatoes with pork belly croutons were magnificent. The fish of the day was flavorful and unique. The Thai seafood risotto was spiced nicely but the rice could hardly be characterized as risotto. Not what you expect from a premium restaurant. Want some nice fresh bread? Not going to get it here. Want a dining experience with ambiance? Not here. Want a competent meal at mediocre prices? This is your place.
Our meal was delicious. This is the perfect restaurant if you go on a horse drawn carriage tour. It’s nearly across the street! My daughter and I need gluten-free options and they accommodated us well.
