Callie’s makes beautiful biscuits! I have raved about Callie’s for serval years now, but this time the biscuit was a little less exciting than what I remembered it being the last time I had Callie’s two years ago. It didn’t seem quiet as fluffy and buttery as last time. Good biscuit, but not as excited about spending $10 on it after eating it. Still would recommend, just know in advance is pricey!

Food was excellent. Like, very excellent! We got a plain biscuit, a bacon egg and cheese, and sampled three minnies (all excellent). Nitro cold brew was excellent (Royal bean, who has mastered the craft). Wait was very, very long. Employees didn't seem to want to be there or maybe stressed out. They weren't rude, just all business and no smiles. For out of towners, expect it to be a tiny store that's standing only and had about ten standing bar spots. Chances are that, during busy times, you will need to carry out.

Wow! That is all I can say. Wow! I love the place! For a first timer, try the trio for $6. (Cinnamon is my favorite) Or better yet, get a grits bowl and pile it on! After being served last Tuesday, I walked out to King street, happily swinging my Callie Biscuit sack, taking up the whole side walk.. suddenly I sensed a fellow was trying to pass. Before even taking a look, I apologized- for my wide berth- and in true Southern tradition, started telling a random stranger about my good fortune to have stumbled upon Callie’s. Of course, as I moved to the side to let him pass, I had to ask if he knew first hand how good they were? When the fellow said yes, I was satisfied…and really happy I did not need to share one of my own to make him a believer. As he laughed at my enthusiasm and slipped by, I recognized the gentleman as Steve Zahn. Yep. Isn’t that cool? Still, not quite as exciting as chowing down on those savory little 2 inch squares of heaven. Thank you , King Street Callie’s for giving me perfect service and incredible little biscuits!

A must-try for biscuit fans. You can enjoy the smaller biscuits in a variety of flavors (think sampler), or go for the traditional sandwiches with egg, bacon or sausage and pimento cheese. You also cannot go wrong with the classic biscuit and gravy combo. The price point is fair as the sandwiches come in a decent size; definitely filling.

It’s a must for breakfast! Their biscuits and flaky and buttery and not dense at all. The BLT was incredible and didn’t feel too heavy. I tried a few of the 2x2s and really enjoyed the black pepper bacon and blackberry ones. I’d be trying all of them if I lived in town!

Elaine at Market Street is precious & so kind!! She’s helpful & patient while keeping the line moving. A hard task! All the staff is wonderful! And On top of all that the biscuits are amazing! Try the BlackBerry jam on shortbread! Highly recommend! It’s worth it!!

Our Airbnb was a quick walk to Callie's, so we made this our easy breakfast stop while in town. We got here usually mid-afternoon on weekdays and didn't have to wait too long for our food. I think coming a little earlier for breakfast or later for lunch, we would've had a much longer wait. Everything we tried was delicious, and the iced coffee hit the spot. Definitely recommend it if you're on King Street!

We had a blt biscuit at the Market. It was excellent!!! So fresh and biscuit melts in your mouth. Thanks to all the workers.

The food was great! You go into the tiny little shop, order and then akwardly stand in the street and wait 20+ minutes to get your food. It was trash day, so the trash cans we got to wait next to made that a little unpleasant. May or may not do it again depending on the line.

Really good biscuits! We stopped as a family of four on a Tuesday morning. The line was out the door. We were able to.place our order within ten minutes but then had to wait over 30 to receive our food. The biscuits definitely lived up to the hype. However, the eggs in the breakfast sandwiches were just gross. Not real eggs....they were just strange yellow squares that we decided to remove and throw away. So, definitely recommend the biscuits but think they'd be best just with butter.
