Had the traditional sashimi. It was very delicious. Service was good. Soy sauce bottles could be cleaned. Overall, great place.

Not “authentic Japanese”Very minimal “Japanese” menuOver priced for portion size and non-traditional experience you want.The entrée I decided on after not seeing multiple typical Japanese dishes turned out to be the first dish I’ve had with only 2 main ingredients.- Rice (“fried rice”, more so, seasoned rice)- Steak- (with the choice of mushrooms)

James is amazing. He's always on the go getting everything done. We love seeing him. Happy hour is amazing the crab wontons are killer and half off for happy hour.

I have ordered here multiple times. I used to order on my lunch break every day and the quality of food has always been amaing! I can HONESTLY sayThis is hands down the best sushi place in Charleston. The sushi chef never disappoints. Whoever they are they are extremely talented and have a passion for this because...The pictures says it all.

Must have had my first review removed due to language, but I'm only quoting what your employees said out loud in front of other paying customers. I'll censor myself this time.Place is going downhill. I like the sushi here, and have tolerated that tickets are taking 30-45 minutes longer than what they say they will take. Last night while waiting (well past when I was told my takeout order would be ready), a party of 2 ladies walked out at a high top table near the bar because they had been waiting a long time for sushi that they never received.The male bartender with the glasses then proceeded to say "I don't give a ****, they already paid". He then proceeded to pretty much verbally berate them after they left with the bar customers and was saying some pretty nasty things out loud for everyone to hear.Just wanted to point out that it's not a good look to talk poorly about your paying customers when YOUR restaurant is running super behind on tickets. Especially for everyone else to hear.
