If you are visiting the area and looking to find a great place to meet locals. Try Burns Alley Tavern. It’s off King st. And hard to find but totally worth it!We really enjoyed our time here! Be sure to try the frozen slushies (add a shot of rum)!

This awesome, friendly bar was exactly what we were looking for when we stopped by this afternoon after a day of sightseeing and walking. Our bartender was warm and professional and the other patrons were friendly and lively. Burns Alley Tavern is a hidden gem!
This is one of the best kept secrets in Charleston. For those who like the night life but looking for something different than the rest of king street go check this place out.
Kicked us out early because bouncer wanted to make sure everyone got 20% tips. Kicked out for absolutely no reason we were standing in one spot just talking and dont to leave. do not come here.

Great local dive bar. Liked it so much we went back. Pretty good beer selection and great prices. Bartenders were all engaging and fun to talk to. A good mix of locals and tourists. A place where everybody can sit and drink and get along.
