This made my second visit to Blind Tiger, once for dinner and this time for lunch. The first time was good but not overly memorable by way of food. However, my second time proved a great experience. We sat at the bar and ordered wings, Gouda nachos, a panini and grapefruit margs - SO good! The bartender was fun to talk to, but unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. I highly recommended the outdoor space but the entire pub has a great vibe. I’ll be back!
Amazing Experience! We ordered the wings for an appetizer, they were hot and tasty! We got the Carolina Hot Chicken sandwich with the bacon man n cheese, both were amazing! The slaw on the sandwhich with the house made pickles, so yummy & the Mac n cheese was to die for! Well done. Atmosphere was good and service was on point. Will come back again!
What horrible unfriendly staff at this establishment. The menu had an inaccurate description of the cider. It was supposed to be dry but tasted like a jolly rancher. I took it back and the bar tender was rude stating it was a rotating cider and what do I expect …. It was a cider! After he lectured me about my lack of knowledge regarding ciders, he said he would give me a glass of wine instead. The wine tasted like it had been open for a very long time. Everyone at my table tasted it and agreed. Shortly after that encounter, rude staff came up to our table telling us to leave the table as it was reserved. We picked that table because it was the only one without a reserved sign. And there were five other tables empty within view. We were finishing up our drinks and another employee started spraying our table with disinfectant while we were still there getting it on me. He said well you are at a reserved table and flipped the menu holder around from the menu side to show a sign that says reserved. On our way out I mentioned it to the manager and he basically didn’t care how we were treated. Definitely a younger crowd and we felt we were treated poorly because we were over 40. We ended up at another lovely establishment where we thanked the bartender for being so amazing after what had happened at the blind tiger. She said it doesn’t surprise her because she hears that a lot about the blind tiger. Then another server chimed in that his friend used to work there and left over the toxic environment.
We went there for drinks later in the night before the line and cover started. It goes far back. The patio is very nice and large. There is a lot of standing room in the back. The bathrooms are between the pub and patio, so it's a high-traffic area. The beer was priced fair. Would recommend checking it out if you are in the area.
A great bar for drinks. The best "Old Fashioned" I've had in years. We didn't eat there so can't speak to the quality. Staff was great, drinks on point!! Worth walking to this place for a relaxing cocktail or three.
The Blind Tiger Pub is at the top of my list for best food I’ve ever had. I had the fried pork chop served with whipped potatoes and brown sugar bacon collard greens. When I tell you I have dreamt about those collard greens…I mean it ?. My husband had the truffle duck sandwich with fries. Both of our plates were amazing and worth every penny.
Stopped here for a drink at the end of a long day. Highly recommend their take on and Old Fashioned.
We ended up at Blind Tiger by chance, we were hungry and it was close by. We sat outside at the back bar area and it is gorgeous and comfortable. Great service, tasty food, wide beer selection and it looks like it would be fun at night.
We come for food after visiting the sound of Charleston show, all we had was great and service too. I recommend the avocado toast and the tuna poke too!
We passed by the Blind Tiger on Broad St earlier in the day and decided to return for an easy dinner that evening. We shared the Chargrilled Oysters, Four Cheese Bacon Mac n Cheese, and Avocado Shrimp Toast. To drink, I had the Holy City Washed Out Wheat. The food was really good and if you have to eat a cooked oyster, they cooked it just right.
