Absolutely amazing experience at Bistronomy! We were in search of something nice since our plans didn't workout. After a short wait we were seated. The restaurant in refined but not stuffy. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable about preparation of each dish and which wines would pair well with them. The escargot rice dumplings is a nice spin on escargot, very yummy. The octopus was perfection and the accompanied mushrooms held their on, 12 out of 10. The stuffed quailed was absolutely phenomenal. It was paired with equally amazing sides, 12 out of 10. As a foodie I'm reluctant to repeat restaurants with so many great option in a town like Charleston but I will definitely return my next visit. Everyone from the hostess to manger/owner was friendly and welcoming.

Not sure why this place isn’t more busy on a Monday night - the food and cocktails (specifically the ‘Cot on Fire and Passion of Yuzu) were fantastic! Corina, the bartender led us through the menu and didn’t steer us wrong. The mussels with fries and side of bread are a must order, the scallops with the coconut rice and the bouillabaisse were really tasty. The Chocolate Mousse dessert was like 3 full portions of mousse! Come visit! Tuesday’s are half off bottles of wine and they are open on Mondays.

We had dinner here last night and it’s was very good! The barkeeps were excellent and the food was great. Loved my octopus appetizer and main course duck. My wife very much enjoyed her app and main course lobster tail too! The new GM, Gina, came by and chatted with us… she’s delightful! If you’re in Charleston, make a reservation and try this hip new place!

On our last night in Charleston we tried this little gem. The staff was lovely and helpful and the food was very good! We had several different dishes and enjoyed it all. The chocolate mousse for dessert was also wonderful.

Wowza!!!!! Bistronomy is unassumingly amazing. The fact that I was able to get a table at 8:30pm on a packed Sunday night in Charleston concerned me. All of the better known popular restaurants were fully committed. We are foodies and basically base our vacation days on a nice balance of fun activities and the best restaurants. So not having reservations was not typical but our whole trip was sort of last minute. I finally decided we were going to try it as we had only a few choices anyway. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when we walked into this place. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and quaint but lively. The decor is beautiful and bright, the staff is friendly, kind, knowledgeable and experienced. We ordered wine, my favorite cab was on the menu! The food was AMAZING!! We eat a lot ? Had the crab soup, fried mozzarella caprese, fish of the day (striped base), bouillabaisse, cheese burger and filet with Brussels and mushrooms. Wow!! I am a petite filet type person and the filet at Bistronomy was the BEST filet I’ve ever had, hands down!! Thankfully I had filled up on soup and apps because my kids wanted my steak so I had to share it! It’s so tender it melts in your mouth and the flavor is superb. We will definitely return to Bistronomy next time we are in town. Also I’d like to note that the surrounding neighborhood is vibrant and exciting with lots of dessert options to head to after dinner.

We attended the Chef’s Mercy dinner this evening. What an exceptional experience. The food and wine parings were wonderful.

We had a great time dining here. The food was good. Drinks were tasty and dessert was awesome. The service we received and the atmosphere of the place were phenomenal. Definitely recommend!

Pre event dinner tonight and we’re pleasantly surprised by this relatively new restaurant a block off King street. It has a typical bistro menu eith some of the expected items, mussels with frites, steak frites, as well as some interesting fusions of French and southern cuisine. Ambiance is understated and pleasing. Good wait staff and a nice selection of wines and craft beers. Relatively quite dining. Overall a very pleasant dining experience. We give it four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

Amazing! This was our first visit, but we will be back often. We came for the Mercy of the Chef and it was phenomenal!! 5 courses with wine pairings. Each course was better than the last. Anna was our server and she was the best! Make your reservation now!

Bistronomy by Nico not only takes great care of their patrons, but takes care of their employees as well. You can tell by the positive attitude and warmth of every single staff member you come across. The food is generously sized and delicious yet not overwhelming, which is hard to come by in a town that loves huge portions sizes. The Tequila Salad and Brown Butter Old Fashioned cocktails, mixed and poured by Ellery the bartender were delightful. Devon, our server, was very knowledgeable about wines and offered great recommendations for the menu.Curry crab soup, Naked Fish, and goat cheese spring rolls are a must. The patio was beautifully lit and the music was the perfect volume. The server assistants and food runners were competent but not overbearing and made sure to keep our glasses watered in between bites.Overall, it was a great experience and it’s no wonder this place has been so raved about for the past year. Gift cards can be purchased online and they offer take out as well, but I’ll be back in person to enjoy the atmosphere and experience very soon.
