This was recommended as a brunch spot by some new friends at warby parker. My partner and I went on Mother’s Day and during our short wait for a table, the hostess gave all women and girls a carnation (how sweet!). Our meals came out quick quickly and they tasted great! Loved the biscuit. We had a great final breakfast before leaving Charleston!

Service was excellent and so was the food. The Keke's wrap was superb! The Big Bad Biscuit was delish, but a bit salty. The crunch top of the biscuit was sooo Good! This is a must try place!
BBB is the only place I've seen locally that serves tomato gravy. Give it a try if you go. That said, the breakfast here was average. The biscuit was more dense than I prefer. I like mine light and fluffy. I had the Breakfast Crumble, and the tomato gravy is what made it good. The eggs were perfectly poached. I didn't care for the crispy hash cake. It was also too dense in my opinion.My husband loves sausage gravy but didn't eat much of it. It reminded me more of a sawmill gravy. He didn't like the flavor of the bacon, either. The pancake was ok, but the syrup was not good at all. It will do if you are hungry and in the area. I would not drive or walk out of my way for it.

People are friendly and southern homemade choices are great. Bright airy clean place. Homemade hot sauce is hot and delicious. The Cathead Biscuit is pretty good. There are other better choices. I'd definitely come back
Absolutely Fabulous dining! You can see why locals and visitors alike are willing to wait, if necessary for a chance to eat here. I had the Huevos Rancheros Grit Bowl and devoured it! It was heaven. Hubby had the pancakes, he said they weren't the best he's ever had, just ok. They have a limited bar serving mimosas and such. I saw a lot of orders for iced coffee concoctions, so they must be pretty good as well. I highly recommend hitting this place up if you are in the area.
Did you say Charleston? We’ll, think Big Bad Breakfast! It’ll fill you up until your next breakfast day wow ? incredibly tasty, service outstanding. The only upside is parking! They don’t have enough car spaces and street parking is a pain… yet, I believe that’s in all the city. You’ll thank me after you visit this place ??
We were pleasantly surprised by this place! Stopped by for breakfast while in town. Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious. Looked like they should be featured on “Triple D” Diners, drive-ins and dives!
