I didn’t know ice coffee could taste so bad. The bacon egg and cheese I received had a rubbery cold microwaved egg on it, it was bland and dry. The cookie wasn’t even good. And to top it all off, the woman who made my drink gave me a broken cup and was upset she had to pour it into a different one. I’m surprised by the amount of positive reviews. Worst bakery I’ve ever been too and I’ve been to Dunkin Donuts.
Charming! Espresso was aight but the (spiked, frozen) raspberry lemonade was the perfect companion to a sunny afternoon
Cute place and nice location, but rude and poor service. Not a lot to choices because they were out of a lot. The brewed coffee is HORRIBLE. The emo college kids that work there need to realize that they work at a coffee shop and take some pride in their job. At least learn how to properly brew coffee if this is what you serve and charge almost $3 for a 12 ounce cup. First the kid tried to give me a cup of coffee with big pieces of grounds in it…I sent it back, then he gave me second cup that looked like herbal tea it was so weak and slammed it down in front of me. ??? I just gave up at this point.
Such a nice find. Great little bakery and coffee shop in downtown. I had a chai tea and a biscuit. Very good. Others had coffee and loved it too. Recommend.
The nicest ladies served us today, we came in since Pearlz didn't open until noon. We had a brownie, chocolate chunk cookie, and some pina coladas. All were amazing, and I highly recommend stopping in. It has a coffee house vibe with better foods!
Stopped for a second cup of coffee and snack after walking the battery and looking at the beautiful Charleston homes. GL oat bar was good, latte was good, service was good.

Bakehouse Charleston on East Bay Street in Charleston is a great place to go for coffee, desserts, drinks, and much more. I really like the atmosphere and location that works well for a business meeting or getting some work done. The staff here is very accommodating and welcoming. Well worth a visit.
