I am a regular at baguette magic and they are always so kind and make THE BEST food in Charleston. I always recommend them to my friends and any tourists that ask.The only bad thing (which is not the restaurant's fault) is there is only a very small parking lot which can be difficult to turn into off of Folly road. There is no way around this, but it is just something to keep in mind if you drive a large car.I also recommend placing your order online ahead of time, as they can be very busy with a line out the door on weekends.Overall, they are an amazing restaurant that I have gone to every weekend for the past year, and when they closed for a week to do renovations I did not know where to go for my sandwich. Definitely recommend the BEC sandwich or a latte. Their coffee is amazing!

This is our new favorite spot on James Island. The breakfast baguettes are amazing and we also loved our iced latte. There are picnic tables for outdoor dining. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a great experience at Baguette Magic. The food was great - she got the BEP on a baguette, I got the BEC on a croissant. We also got iced lattes which were great as well (sometimes the coffee at primarily food spots can be hit or miss… I can assure you the coffee here is a hit). Will definitely keep this place in mind and have visit again when back in Charleston.

May 5,2022 I ordered a Recovery Baguette, I asked to skip the eggs and bacon, wanted everything else. I received the Sandwich minus what I asked for - I received a half piece of Prosciutto, very little cheese, tomatoe spread it was like eating a sandwich with tomato spread and small quantity of Arugula. My husband got the sausage Sammy for $9 it was served on a baguette homemade sage beef sausage, it was so dried up and when you bit into it was like thick shoe later. I’ve been here many times, I don’t know if they changed hands but to me when you purchase you expect to receive quality but it was not the case. I don’t think I will make another visit - there are many places to go to receive quality / skimpy ingredients is not a good way to run a restaurant

This place really is magic. Somehow the baguettes are perfectly soft yet firm on the outside making for the perfect combo on any sandwich. Bacon was a little undercooked for my liking, but overall I'd highly recommend anything on their menu. Most important is to treat yo self to a Cruffin, so much buttery flaky flavorful goodness should be illegal.

This place makes wonderful pastries. I had a BEC croissant. It was scrumptious. They have homemade pop tarts and Cruffins. Coffee was excellent.

So sad to see how far this place has gone downhill. The pastries are freezing and the service is terrible. They wouldn't give us our money back when requested when the ice cold pastries were inedible and they wouldn't warm them up during a family outing. I can't recommend them.

Amazing pastries and breakfast sandwiches! We come here almost weekly and have never had a bad experience. They have a market next door with some great take and bake options too

The flavors of everything I’ve had here are amazing! Don’t sleep on that BEP on a croissant. It looks like a normal breakfast sandwich until you bite into it, then wow! Flavorgasm! The lavender latte is also ridiculously good!

Yum! Homemade French pastries and excellent coffees. Service is efficient and friendly. Our order was to go and was ready fast on a busy Saturday morning.
