Food and service were on point. Different and excellent flavors.
This was my wifeâs birthday. The filet and grouper were excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and helpful. The consistency over the years is amazing.
The fried whole flounder is awesome. I order this everything and it is always excellent. Drinks were great. Dessert was awesome and would definitely recommend the almond basket to anyone dining there. Staff is very friendly as well.

Son just home from Iraq after two years. Everything was perfect except the portions on the Shrimp and Grits were too small. Not enough food. Portion too small.
This was a perfect dinner. Unique food that tasted amazing!!! Perfect location for historic Charleston.Servers and managers were so kind and patient with our large group of 9. Thank you so much for making it a special evening for our family and our last night in Charleston!
Dinner was delicious! As always, the shrimp and grits, Crispy Scored Whole Flounder and Salmon was amazing. My husband had the pecan pie for dessert and my friend and I shared the ice cream almond basket. We will be returning again soon! Ansons is our favorite Charleston restaurant.

Highly recommend Anson! We couldnât have had a better experience. Our server Will was welcoming, efficient , attentive and friendly. We sat upstairs and it was beautifully designed, creating a special ambiance.⨠The food was phenomenal. Roasted oysters and fried green tomatoes to start, followed by Shrimp and Grits (the best Iâve ever had, tomato based) and the Whole Flounder. Make a reservation here, you wonât regret it! ðð»
