We came in on a rainy Charleston afternoon and were greeted with smiles, a kind hello, and the very best service! Our order was taken quickly and our food arrived soon after. The food was delicious and the hush puppies and onion rings were worth the drive! Two thumbs way, way up! ? ?
Stopped in for a cold beer and seafood and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! This was the best seafood I’ve had in Charleston so far, it beat Marvin’s and the Crab House. Plus their prices are significantly cheaper than most other restaurants around the area. Excellent drink specials, like really good deals. Friendly staff, and the food comes out quick. Will definitely be going back.
Simple but good place. Popped in for a quick dinner and had the fish and shrimp. It was happy hour so beer was $1.5 off. Good prices on everything.Overall, decent local choice for a quick bite.
My husband and I ate at Salt n Battered for lunch. I had the large fish basket (Cod) and my husband had the combo basket (cod and shrimp). We were very disappointed in our meals. The fish was undercooked and wet inside while the outside batter was over cooked and did not adhere to the fish. Our fries were cold and limp. My husband's shrimp were also undercooked. If you want great fish and chips go to the Godfather. This place was a bitter disappointment.
My husband was craving beer battered cod. He did not leave disappointed. We were all so satisfied with all the food. Great happy hours to boot! Don't miss this hidden gem. If it was served in newspaper you would have thought you were in London!
Had the fish and shrimp combo. Delicious fish shrimp and fries. Didn't care for the home made "tartar sauce" only because I prefer my tartar sauce more classic in taste. Great drinks specials, friendly staff.
My wife, daughters and I were looking for a place to grab lunch during our visit to Charleston. Found this little gem. We all had fish and chips - but we had different types of fish. We all enjoyed it very much
Had dinner on a Tuesday. Great fish! We shared Bang Bang Shrimp and it was perfect. Great service and plenty of TVs. Will definitely go back!
Got the shrimp and catfish, and boom boom shrimp. Everything was great. Staff is very friendly and quick service.
The fish was so wet.I have to recook it, 40 dollars for over season and under cooked food. My wife was so mad.
