Had an amazing brunch with the boyfriend and his sisters. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. Our waiter Whit was the best, his recommendations were spot on. Love that is also pet - friendly.

The 82 Queen was an exceptional place to eat lunch! Ben showed us great southern hospitality and the food was delicious!

Mom and I visited Charleston, and this restaurant, for her birthday. It’s a quaint spot where the atmosphere and decor are quintessential Charleston from the wallpaper, window coverings and chandeliers. We had a crab cake appetizer to start. Mom had the tomato pie and I had the barbecue shrimp and grits. The food was out of this world! We shared the bourbon pecan pie for dessert and it was another stand-out winner. Whit was our server and he was informative, solicitous, engaging and very funny. 82 Queen did not disappoint!

82 Queen is a well established (39 years and counting) Charleston restaurant and one of the early restaurants that has led to Charleston's national reputation for outstanding Low Country and modern Southern Cuisine dining. The She Crab Soup is deserving of its reputation and we enjoyed the Southern Tomato Pie appetizer as well. We shared a Queen's salad and ordered the Carolina Crab Cake and the BBQ Shrimp and Grits for our main courses. Both were well portioned, appetizingly plated and quite satisfying. For dessert we ordered the ubiquitous pecan pie. Wow, what a surprise! I've eaten pecan pie for most of my 60+ years all over the country but have never had a better slice. Sorry, Mom. The service was professional, personable, and well informed with respect to the menu and the history of the restaurant. We had made reservations more than a month in advance but regrettably the weather precluded dining in what appeared to be a charming and intimate courtyard. The interior has a number of small dining rooms and we enjoyed our table by the window. If I were a local I'd be looking for excuses to dine here on a fairly regular basis.

We were scheduled to have dinner at 82 Queen but had car issues on our way from NY and needed to cancel. We were so lucky to be accommodated for lunch the next day. Our waitress was fantastic-made some great recommendations. We had she crab soup and tomato pie. Totally not what we would have ordered but we were so happy we got those items The place is beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

We had some amazing food based off our recommendations from our server, Sam, and really enjoyed the setting and the food!

Food and atmosphere were amazing! Pork sandwich was to die for. Whit made the experience even more amazing!

Had a little bit of everything. Service was spectacular, soup, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits!!!!
