Great food and service, highly recommend!!!!!!! My wife and I go there as much as possible, just wish we lived a little closer or we would go more.
Food was OK. Drinks were not good. Their margaritas had a funky taste to it. Maybe their sour mix came from a bottle. Atmosphere was more in line of a run down bar but with regulars that made the place lively.Some of my friends love this place and will join them when invited. But for me on my own time, I'll pass.
Definitely worth the drive! Live music, one of the best margaritas I've ever had and damn good food!I chose the chicken burrito bowl with a side of fried plantains, my wife had street tacos and Mexican corn.Better come hungry because they give you plenty on the bowl....The margaritas didn't last long enough to make the photo cut.
Ordered two steak burrito bowls with no lettuce, and queso added for both. When we picked it up it was mostly lettuce, and at the bottom so it was soggy. There was no regular cheese, or the queso I was charged extra for, or generally any flavoring. So I added a bunch of stuff from my own kitchen to make it passable, but it still isn’t 40$ quality for two easy dishes.
The tuna taco and shrimp taco were very good. Big selection of tequila but I’m no expert on that. I like their mezcal though.
My husband and I got tacos. They were out of pork so we ended up not getting our first choice tacos. I got the birria tacos and my husband got 3(shrimp, ground beef and chorizo). The chorizo was the best but they were okay. My husband and I actually ended up switching tacos.
Every time we have been there the food has been amazing. Service is also great. Everyone is very friendly and polite. We drive almost an hour to eat there and it has never disappointed. We miss the pineapple rice and the seasoned black beans that were on the menu before covid. But that being said they have the best tacos around.

Cool place. Like the bar, also the outdoor seating. The matador taco is 5 stars itself!
