Service was great and the waitresses were super friendly! This is by far the best seafood I've had, outside of what we cook at home. Would highly recommend if you're anywhere near the area.

The family has been harvesting oysters in local waters since early 1900s.Good service! Indoor and outdoor seating. Has a small parking lot.Good for family with kids. Has a full service bar.Would recommend this place over some HHI seafood restaurants.
Nice, welcoming, low-key seafood restaurant. Steamed shrimp? Excellent. Grilled shrimp? Very good! Much more flavorful than I thought they would be. Succotash? Different. Excellent! The outdoor dining area looked quite inviting...but there were 7 of us, and indoors was just fine. Would I go back? Absolutely! Would I get the same thing? Probably. (I happen to love steamed shrimp!

I was visiting home (Hilton Head) and wanted seafood! We chose here, big mistake. Our server was absolutely amazing. I think she might have been the only person on the floor. My husband and I ordered the combination with 3 choices. Scallops had a $2 mark up because they at market prices right now, which is fine but I got THREE Scallops on my plate...a total of THREE pieces of rubber. Way over cooked. My husband's fried shrimp still had the shells and legs on them!! His one piece of fried fish was no bigger than a fish stick from the frozen food section at Food Lion. Our friend had steamed oysters. They were absolutely dry, overcooked and bland. Again, pieces of rubber. So disappointing. There were 6 of us. Our food came out in sections about 10 minutes apart. My husband's showed up 20 minutes later still missing food. We left still hungry. For $87 (with tip), I expected better. Never again.
Will not return. Restaurant was only half full at 2 pm. My husband had the most expensive entree and it was very poor, both in warmth and freshness. He felt it was not prepared and served properly. Oysters had too much breading and overccooked. His meal was brought out about 3 minutes before mine and then I didnt get my french fries until I had finished my fish and slaw.We are not the complaiing type so just sucked it up and will not return.
The service here was extremely poor. We left after waiting 50 minutes for our food. Turns out the server did not put in the order until 25 minutes after we ordered out food. The other server had food coming out to other tables for people that had sat down well after our arrival. Tired of waiting, we left, went to Captain Woodys. Great service at Captain Woodys.
Food was expensive, not hot, was not in sync with my husband's. And when I did get mine, the fries arrived after I had finished my entree and slaw. Seafood was not fresh but must have come from food supply company. My husband is a great cook and he was so disappointed in his $38 meal!
My favorite hometown place is amazing. Great service and great food.. Must try for all visitors and locals
Went for our favorites... oysters on the half shell, fish basket and fried clamstrips which are always great. Fresh,fresh fresh.This time deviated and tried the buffalo wings and what a pleasant surprise. Easily in top 2 or 3 of any I had anywhere. They were good size and meaty and the seasoning was awesome. A .UST try.
