One Hot Mama’s is my go to place for bbq in Bluffton and the Lowcountry! The ribs are ridiculously good y’all! The food is delicious and consistent every time. Staff is friendly and my orders have always been correct. Orchid, the owner, is so nice and even graciously took time to say hello and make sure everything was good. I’ll keep coming back!
It was my son's birthday so he wanted some barbecue so me and my wife took him there for the first time. The waitress her name was Valerie she gave excellent excellence excellent service. In spite of her running the whole inside and outside and the bar I commend her to the fullest, someone like her would make me want to keep coming back I give it a five stars if it was a 10 I'll give it a 10 thank you
Delicious food! We ordered take out. It was ready for pick up in about 25 minutes and was ready when we arrived. Everything was packed/sealed in to go boxes and put in easy to carry take out bags. We ordered the Mama's Family Style Platter and it was great! It came with 2 big pieces of BBQ chicken, 2 big pieces of Fried chicken, about 1 lb of pulled pork and 1 lb of brisket. It also came with 4 sides (we choose mac'n'cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and Cole slaw) and then a backet size of honey corn bread. The meat portion fed our family of 4 (two adults and two kids) for about 3 full meals (it is a lot of meat, they give you a big 9x13 size aluminum foil pan full of meat). The sides were enough for about 2 meals. It would easily feed 6 adults for one full meal and you'd probably have some meat left over. If you wanted to feed more adults just buy an extra side or two. Everything was well cooked/prepared and delicious! We plan to order this again in the future! Great meal!
Very good meals! My Husband had the Pork Chops that he said were delicious. I had the Fried Shrimp that were wonderful. I also ordered Fries that I usually only eat a small amount of but I ate everyone - very good flavor. Cornbread is spectacular!
May have to wait to get seated during busy times. Food is fresh and good across the board (smoked chicken 1 of my favs), service fast, attentive & friendly. Ambience - rustic trendy / local.
Amazing award winning BBQ. Sizesble menu with plenty of choices. Good friendly service. Tasty, flavorful food. Never had a bad meal there. One of my favorites
Hello , tonight’s dinner was very poor. We sat down and there were six other tables in the restaurant. We watched the servers stand around and talk with the manager and not get greeted for over 20 minutes. Finally a very sweet young man came up to us and took our drink order and started our dinner for us. My Friend ordered a Sandwich and a salad and when she got the salad within the first few bites she had a big piece of hair in her food. No big deal we asked for a new salad and proceeded with dinner however our server said he would comp the salad and bring her a new one. One of the employees who we know asked for they’re discount to be on our food for the night. NOT ONCE did the manager come up to us and apologize and he also stated that he would not give us a discount and told the server that he needed to tell us this. He never apologized for the meal or for how poorly the whole situation was. Never even showed face. I am in F&B and am very open to a lot of things that happen. Mistakes happen and that’s understandable but the situation was handled very poorly. New management should definitely happen I wouldn’t want the manager like this to be the face of a restaurant I own. I have never had a bad time here but after tonight I doubt we will be back. The server was great and you could definitely tell that he was embarrassed!!
No wait time, great and fast service, and food was delicious. I had the steak sandwich because I'm not big on barbecue. The fries appetizer was so good as well. Definitely go back if I'm in the area.
We are there two nights in a row during our visit to Bluffton. We had excellent food and even better service from Valerie our waitress. Definitely recommend
