Locals know best! But sometimes we forget. It has been years since I had been to Mulberry St. and shame on me for missing out on all that time! My new fave! Chef’s Joe and Chris ( father and son) did an amazing job on the menu and preparation. We will be back many times and highly recommend ! Did not think to take pics of our apps or salads. All were outstanding!
Absolutely the BEST homemade Italian pasta EVER
Wife and I went here for the first time. Wife ordered the chicken piccata. She said it was the best she ever had. I order two meatballs. You can always tell if an Italian restaurant is authentic by its meatballs and sauce. They hit it out of the park. It was so good. The meatballs are the size of a baseball. Recommend making reservations.
Went there for lunch with a group. Service was absolutely great. I ordered meatballs, pasta with marinara sauce. The bread was delicious. The marinara sauce seemed to fall off the pasta. I didn't care for the meatballs at all. They were gritty and fried till they were black and overdone. I brought two home. My husband said there was so much filler (breadcrumbs) in them causing the gritty feel. The desserts were really good. I'd go there for dessert but not lunch. I brought a shrimp and pasta dinner home for my husband. He said it was okay. He has no desire to go there. I don't think I'd go back unless I just wanted dessert.
DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!RUDE RUDE RUDE!I went to this restaurant to take my mother out for a late Mother’s Day dinner. Our waitress was extremely nice, but the hostess (which I believe is the previous owner) was extremely rude! Apparently her granddaughter works there as well, who verbally attacked me! All we asked is for her soup to be warmed up, and the rude comments and snarl looks started immediately. I am not going to get into what “he said she said”, but things could have been handled a lot differently. And on top of the rudeness, the food was Applebee’s quality.
First time visit with friends. Hidden away off Rt278 in Bluffton, would not have known it existed if friends hadn't recommended. We were greeted at the door and led to a lovely corner table in the warm, cozy dining room. Mindy, our server immediately brought water and took our drink order while giving us a list of the daily specials. They had an early dining menu so we chose to order from it. Bread (with oil dipping plate), salad, entree and a choice of a glass of wine or dessert at only $22 is a bargain these days. I had the linguine clam sauce and my husband chose the broiled salmon. Bread was fresh and hot, salad was a generous portion. Both entrees were tasty and well prepared. My portion was large enough to bring some home for my next day's lunch. Plan on going back again to support local small business and try some of the other many Italian choices. (Our friends loved the lasagna). Thanks Mindy for great service and hospitality.
Worst experience in dining by far! Food was a step up from Olive Garden. After a less than mediocre meal, we were just finishing up and the owner comes over to ask if we enjoyed everything, we said it was fine and she proceeds to say ok good so now you have to leave because I have another party waiting! Needless to say we were shocked! So unprofessional and rude ! Not the way I wanted my mother birthday dinner to go. Will never return!
Food was excellent. Service staff excellent job. Would highly recommend this restaurant
Best Italian in area… nice staff! A piece of home right here in Bluffton!
What a great experience from beginning to end! Katie, our server, very friendly and patient. We tried one of the specials for the night, warm bread as an appetizer, beef Wellington with spaghetti veggies, a Caesar salad to start, and tiramisu to seal the deal. I even got to meet the chef, Chris and his mom Elisa. Ruth even checked on us during our meal. I would highly recommend this place. They also have a great wine selection.
