My family and I came in Sunday for ice cream. They were very busy due to Water Festival. They handled it pretty well under the circumstances. The older gentleman was trying to keep up with the trash, napkins, etc. He was very sweet. The younger staff didn’t seem to know much about what they were doing. There was an unhappy customer due to running out of blue cheese. She was pretty rude to the woman about it.. the woman handled the situation really well. We will be back!
We are locals and visit your establishment every 2-3 months.Today we swung in.I stood at the register for 18 plus minutes while the one young man was busy making customers orders.The other employee,young lady was clueless and lacks great social skills. She stood with her back to us for 18plus minutes, talking to the other employee, then took her time placing basket liners in baskets,standing over the toaster .still ignoring us at the counter. 4 customers behind us walked out due to the customer service and wait as the employee played with her gloves ..She then walks up to the register and just looks at me .I had to say hello and she refused to speak..She couldn't even tell me my total.Couldn't get our 2 cones right ,even after pointing out what cone I wanted.A huge lack of customer service.Highly disappointing!
Cute little place with not so cute service. Three young adults working counter. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich. Saw the girl making it look around half way through the sandwich, and I noticed the container she pulled the chicken salad from was empty. Rather than just letting us know and allowing us to choose something else, she proceeded to fill the sandwich that had ~1 tbs worth of chicken salad on it with lettuce, mayo, and mustard and handed it to us. I heard people behind us raving about the ice cream, but food service was poor. Older lad came in saying she called earlier about a chili dog while we were there only to find it wasn’t ready nor had it been started about 20 minutes after she called. And we were one of 2 groups of 2 people in the place
Best shake in downtown Beaufort! They also have the best chili dogs! Hailey really took care of me when I was in a hurry. I believe it’s Dan, apologize if I am incorrect, but we always have conversations which are nice. And Bre does a good job getting the orders out as soon as she can. Always fresh!
Went here twice in one day. Great looking place with good lunch and ice cream.I had the fried bologna sandwich. It was great. Fried bologna is something I only crave about once a year or less, but they hooked me with the sign outside and reeled me in.Nice decor , very clean with friendly staff.Highly recommended.
I'm writing my review as I sit here finishing up my milkshake. First, the staff has been great. I asked for no toppings on my shake and they double checked to be sure. My sandwich was delicious - the southern flair. Excellent pimiento cheese. The milkshake is so good, their ice cream is obviously top notch.
Cutest ice cream shop in Beaufort! AND BEST HOT DOGS IN TOWN! ? tucked away in a cute alley on Bay Street! It is must-go experience for anyone visiting or living in Beaufort!
Beautiful old time ice cream parlor, and the BEST ICE CREAM in Beaufort. Unbelievably reasonable prices. Sandwiches are also terrific - try the LT DAN!! Set back from Bay Street a little (inside the Old Bay Market Place) so look for the movable signs on the sidewalk. Well worth a try if you are visiting town like I was today. If I were a local, I would eat here all the time.
Cute little ice cream shop downtown Beaufort. They even have a sundae for dogs, and our dog loved it. Nice place. Friendly staff. Decent prices.
