Pulled up and both the drive thru lines were full.We walked in and two were sitting down talking.Went to order and they said kiosk orders only...then if you pay with cash they would have to ring you up anyways...so they definitely could have taken an order. It was. Honestly they were just lazy. There was one nice person there. The rest just looked lost and caught an attitude at each person who wanted to pay cash..telling them they had to order at the kiosk.
Went to pull in to McDonalds and 4 of the employees were outside in the parking lot looking as if they were leaving. One of them even screamed at us to say they were closed. Went to leave, then noticed there were still some employees inside so I look on the door what time they were opened to, which was 11 pm. So we went back to the drive thru, again the employees were yelling at us to go away and they were closed as they were walking back inside the building. We went up to the speaker and the intercom came on asking if we were using the app, I said no, then there was no response for 5 minutes. Then we drove around and all the employees were now not at their windows, just talking in the kitchen, ignoring us. I have the app but I am afraid if I got them to do there job at this point they would have spit on my food. If you look at the reviews online you will see the exact same thing happening to multiple people.
Tonight the fries were hot & fresh & the service was quick. First time in awhile that they have been this efficient. Keep it up.
Pulled up to the drive through around 10pm they asked if I had a mobile order I said no then nothing was said after that. But I did hear them cussing and complaining to each other about other customers because they forgot to turn their headset off. Very unprofessional. I never got helped so I drove across the street to Wendy’s. Pathetic service.
The drive through guy must be stoned, I guess I would be stoned too. But he threatened to come fight us and purposely skipped us like literally 24 cars. Didn’t bother ordering after that bc I’m sure he would have spit in the food. Ate veggie burgers at home instead, I guess we should thank him. Healthier anyway.
So I had to edit this so I could add another review. THIS IS HANDS DOWN NOT ONLY THE WORST MCDONALD'S EVER BUT THE WORST FAST FOOD RESTAURANT PERIOD!!!. I sat in line for over 30 minutes with only 7 cars in line. I ended up leaving. (As well as other cars) But I want to point out a few thing. I tried ordering a Carmel Frappuccino. But the guy said the machine is broke. Well I know that to be a lie because just 2 hours ago my girlfriend bought one. But what's really funny is I left and went to Dairy Queen down the street. When I got there there were 4 other cars ahead of me. Anyway I got my order and left and as I passed McDonald's again the car that was ahead of me before I left ( I believe he/she was doordash) was still in line..actually they hadn't even made it to the pay window. And you know whay this is not the first bad experience I've had with this place. How they are rated 3.4 stars is beyond me. Anyone giving this place more that one star is either a employee or a relative of an employee trying to make sure they don't lose their job. I only come to McDonald's because of 2 things. Their Carmel Frappes and chicken sandwiches. That's it. But i feel I will no longer at least this location come back. I really don't see how this place is still open. And with all the bad reviews you would think the owner would see to making a change. But I guess he doesn't care about his business only his pocket. So please if you are in Beaufort support local businesses and not these junk franchise's.
No milk shakes machine is always down? Asked at the windows and was told that the company would not fix machine. Wendy’s is across the street and Sonics is 2 minutes away..
Everytime I come here they seemed to be closed 30 min. to a hour earlier then the posted hours. Tonight I got there at 10:15 and they are suppose to close 11pm. The voice came on " will you be using our McDonald's app today?" I said no and then they gave me the silent treatment for 5 min. and then said we are closed. I don't intend to be even that last minute but sometimes that's the way life just works. If you say you are open until 11pm then honor that!!! The BBB (Better Business Bureau) would have a field day with someone not honoring their hours in some states. They may even shut you down.
Beyond any doubt in my soul, this is the worst run business in America. My expectations for this McDonald’s is already so low as to barley register on the scale of expectations. The only reason I subject myself to the horror that is Lady’s Island MCD is because my daughter loves McNuggets and I love my daughter. The day that she graduates to loving another restaurant’s fried chicken will be a glorious day for me.Tonight’s experience is worth noting though. I ordered online (in hopes of helping these employees overcome the difficult process of the fast food assembly line. I was wrong. Managing on line customers nearly broke this establishment. 42 mins after placing my order, I left with an incomplete meal and seriously worrying about the future of our country.
Employees and manager coming outside to try and fight customers ? Who was inside cooking the food?
