Thank you Noel and company for a wonderful post wedding brunch! The food was amazing, enjoyed by all, and it was a pleasure to work with you. Even though I was not in charge of the rehearsal dinner, as a guest of the groom’s family, I can say that was amazing too! Thank you again for your help in making our weekend wonderful!

Not open everyday or late so check the hours before you come. Great atmosphere, great food. The building was built in 1915 and the decor is so pleasant. A must to visit when in Beaufort, SC.

Had an a.azing breakfast of shrimp n grits! The grits have cheese in them so the consistency is more of a Patty, and the sauce and shrimp were amazing! Would order again but next time instead of the cheddar biscuit I'm getting the doughnut!

Unbelievable food and a great combination of flavors. Not a great waiting area. Excellent service. Fried green tomatoes are the best I’ve ever had.

Walking the beautiful downtown Beaufort area, shopping, happened into this gem. Half and half tea to start. Fried tomato stack then Lobeco chicken salad. Laid back, good food and service.

Update: Had breakfast here on 5/9/22. It was delicious! Service was pretty good. Seating was a little delayed because they had to bus tables. We had the brioche french toast and the salmon and eggs.Wanted to eat lunch here today (Saturday, 5/7/22). Drove all over downtown looking for parking. Finally found parking 2 blocks away. Took the walk to the place only to see a small sign on the door that said "We're closing at 2:00pm today". What a waste of time and effort. Very disappointed. I even checked their Facebook page first and there was nothing about closing early today. Irresponsible and inconsiderate.

I'd like to write a review about Lowcountry's food, but can't because we were never greeted or presented to a table. My husband and I visited this establishment this past weekend on a Saturday afternoon. We'd heard about the food and were curious to try. However, when we arrived, there was no greeter. We were instructed, by signage, to go around the counter to sign in for seating. Then we stood there waiting for 20 minutes while servers ignored us, as well as three other couples who came in after us. We watched as these servers hung out, drinking beverages. One couple asked about seating and a server said to sign in and someone will seat them. The 20 minutes we waited, we never saw anyone come by. These people were beyond rude. Careful Lowcountry, there are plenty of establishments around Beaufort with good food AND excellent service. You should be aware of your competition and the fact that your workers are driving away customers. Given the fact that Lowcountry's prices are on the higher end in comparison to some other places nearby, you'd expect those higher prices would be due to ambiance and service. This is not the case with Lowcountry. I don't need to pay extra to be ignored and watch servers chit chat and have a beverage while paying customers wait for 20 minutes for a table. My husband and I never actually ate at Lowcountry. We finally walked out.

Lowcountry Produce Market & Cafe is a great place for breakfast. We tried the Breakfast Biscuit and the Brioche French Toast. Both were very tasty and the coffee was very good, too. The restaurant is bright and airy and also offers a variety of packaged foodstuffs. Highly recommended.

We arrived Saturday shortly after 9:00am to be greeted by no one. We walked around a counter to find a clip board and instruction signage to “sign in”. We did and then we waited and waited, finding the counter, a nice place to lean. Finally someone asked, hi or low? Um, high! Let’s keep it positive. I now know she meant hi top table or very small seating table. So we were seated at a high top and again we waited and waited and waited, we waited 25 minutes at a table with no interaction with staff, this after no interaction at the door, none at the counter, none once seated. We were the only persons waiting. A total of 3 tables inside with 7 patrons and 2 tables and 3 patrons outside, Do you really deserve to call yourself a business? I should also note this was NOT for a lack of staff. It was the lack of employee interaction on the floor, they walked around, refusing to make eye contact. We’re locals and while service was poor but somehow acceptable prior to Covid, this is abysmal. Tell your staff to look their patrons in the eye and asked what is needed. Coffee maybe? Who owns this place? Management comes from the top…

We had the Lobeco Salad and Salmon and eggs, both were delish, my only gripe there is that the salad itself was lacking in actual salad greens, my favorite part of the salad! 4 stars because my fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, I do NOT believe was fresh squeezed, it definitely was giving me store shelf juice. Restaurant is beautiful, I was told by a guide it's one of the staples in Beaufort. Actually we only went because our first three choices were closed for Easter, but our experience was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the food--its noisy and busy and also be prepared for a wait (these things didn't bother us, but if your looking for relaxation and ambiance, this is more of a bright fast paced fun experience). Ginger ale in a glass bottle is like sweet ginger beer. Our favorite was the salmon omelette, unsure of how this would be it actually turned out to be our favorite! Highly recommend this spot if your visiting the area as we were from Statesville NC :-)
