On a camping trip in the area. Stopped in for lunch today and are so glad we did. Super food and great service!!! We'll be back...probably this week! Various scrumptious tacos (best ever corn tortillas) pictured.
Visiting the area, and wanted to have Mexican food, so we tried this restaurant. I had one of the $10 specials, enchilada, taco, and a cheese flat taco (I think). It was all ground beef, literally and not much more but some enchilada sauce and lettuce and cheese on the taco. It was hot but lacked flavor, I should have order a chicken street taco.?
The food was very good, the service was also good, very pleasant staff.
We love this Mexican restaurant! The staff are always quick to get us seated with drinks & chips & salsa. Their food is always quick too. Their salsa is always fresh & usually pretty spicy....yum! I love their hard shell beef tacos which I drizzle with their salsa & pico. My wife loves their refried beans & rice; she also drizzles their fresh salsa & pico on her food. We usually order pico & queso to share with our meals. The pico is always fresh & delicious. We always ask them to make sure the queso is super hot temperature so that it stays easy to dip for our whole meal. Sometimes we order a side of jalapeños & pour them into the queso just for fun. If you love fresh Mexican food fast, this is the place for you.
Margaritas are excellent, and the food is absolutely great! Service with a beautiful smile, and we will be back!
Eat the Mexican Street Food: Amazing flavor and perfect proportions!
The music was too loud but eventually it was turned down. The food was very good. We dined in and there were no complaints from our party of 4.
Very accommodating and very nice. Great food.
My wife and I will never go here again. This was the second time we have been and the service was more atrocious than the first time if that was even possible. Our waiter had an attitude like anything we asked for was a nuisance to him. He got our drinks wrong and took so long to come back for our food order that we decided to leave. Upon asking him for the check for our drinks and cheese dip and to see the manager, he just pointed to the other side of the restaurant and said he's over there. Never again!
We are down from Maryland for a few days attending a Marine Corps Graduation ceremony. As I’ve said in other reviews, I like to get steak Fajitas whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant while traveling. It just allows me to judge consistently across places and time. The place is nice and has a good feel to it. The servers treated us well and got our orders correct. We were a big group of 10 of us so we got there early knowing that a big table would be a premium. Our timing was perfect. We received chips and salsa quickly and the salsa has a nice kick to it. Chips were fresh and crisp. I had the smoked Mango margarita which was very tasty but small on the serving size. I might be spoiled by the sizes we have back home to be fair. My fajitas came out looking like Mount Holy Moly! It was piled like an apartment eviction. The tortillas was nice and hot and the ‘salad’ was fresh and plentiful. I followed up with a regular frozen mango margarita which finished everything off nicely. Everyone else at the table had many complimentary things to exclaim about their meals and overall I would say that our dining experience was a complete success. If Beaufort was my place to call home, this would absolutely be in my regular rotation.
