Dined there for lunch service today. Was told by the host there were no standard table seats and he was corrected by a waitress. Lots of flies. I don’t mean one it was a battle to keep them off of my food and eat. I asked for crisp crust and the crust was not crisp and the edges were burned. The oven must have bee too hot because all of the toppings slid to the center because the rim puffed up and bubbled and burned. Waitress was the only saving grace and I tipped her well. Won’t be going back.

Classic atmosphere, roomy. Like a hall in a great Manor. Pizza was world class. Add great service, which we received in droves, and you're in for a good time. Enjoy!

Casual and laid back brick-oven restaurant.Live music a plus, great performer, his volume was just a bit loud, but my parents weren’t too bothered by it, since he was playing songs we all liked.Pizza was very good, I could see it being made right in front of us as we were seated opposite the brick-oven. Keep in mind the heat that comes from this area of the restauarant, especially in the summer!Good service, friendly faces and warm attitudes.Definitely worth a visit or two when you are in the downtown Beaufort area!

I ordered two cheese pizzas to go on Father's Day Eve as my teenage granddaughters were visiting from the West Coast. I actually had to drive to the restaurant to order them as nobody was answering the phone...fortunately it was only a few blocks from my home. When I got the pizzas home and opened the boxes I was shocked. One was very overcooked and the other was actually burned black on top.I got back in my car and returned the pizza...the staff was unconcerned and actually snickered when I complained . I did receive my money back on the one I returned .It should never have been sold. It belonged in the trash. I won't be back.

When they first opened up the pizza was great. They could have entered a pizza competition and win. If you plan on eating something else other than your guest is having the pizza expect on eating alone. They still can't the timing down and they mess up your order. They also don't refresh your water or ask you how is everything. But now they turn out a greasey, droopy, and sad pizza. Even the interior is falling apart. The vinyl backing on the booths are deterioring and falling off not a little, by the sheets! The bar is still good but forget the rest. There is no excuse for the dilapidated booths or no comunication between the pizza oven operator and the kitchen staff to get the timing right. I blame management. SO SAD! PS I am a local and I miss the days when Hearth was great.

This pizza is fantastic. The crust is thin and crunchy and the toppings are flavorful and fresh. We stopped by for lunch on a Friday in June. The space is interesting (lots to look at and discuss in terms of art and decor) and the service is very nice. I recommend the salad and pizza daily special. 4 slices is plenty and the arugula salad is simple with a tangy dressing. The calamari is also absolutely delicious! We would love to return and try additional menu items.

Cabin meets coast. Hearth Wood Fire Pizza is a must in Beaufort. The restaurant is fresh and eccentric. The exposed oven is the perfect centerpiece to the restaurant. Arrive with a big appetite and prepare to leave happy and full.

Visiting town and we were brought here by a local. Great food, great service and atmosphere. We split the meat and cheese board which was delightful! Then I had a BBQ Chicken pizza. So good!!Would definitely go there again when in town!

Made our 1st trip to Beaufort and found this spot. Amazing decor! Food and service a 10 also ! The calamari and shrimp are so fresh you can taste it! Battered and deep fried right there. Pizza was spectacular. Our server Lindsay was super friendly and gave us tips on what to see on our trip! We can't wait to come back!

The meatball appetizer was a group favorite, though the caprese salad was only fine. The regular pizzas were super good but the gluten free crust was only fine. My wife loved the barbecue chicken pizza and my daughter loved the shroomage.
