Good place for dining in the morning hours, I've been going recently after work (I work 2nd shift), and getting a to-go order generally goes smoothly. The restaurant can get a little bit hectic at night when there are only 2 people cooking and taking orders along with having customers to attend to, but lately it's been staffed pretty well for service.
Got to meet the best waitress I've ever had. Great service and quick to serve my order and see that I had everything I wanted.
We had a wonderful experience at this location today it was 9 a.m. and they were busy but they were so efficient and friendly and their follow-up was great. Michael, our server took our order quickly. Our drinks brought quickly we had a clean table available even though they were busy. The food was cooked perfectly with the perfect temperature and was delicious as well as exactly as we ordered it. Everything we requested was immediately taken care of in fact we were checked up on not just from our server but another server is well. We could see the rhythm going on the grill where the chefs or Cooks were doing their job very efficiently thoughtfully it was a very very good experience and we will be back! Kudos compliments to everyone what a great team! Excelsior!
I never usually have a bad experience at Waffle House. The employees either make or break it as far as the experience goes, especially at this location. For the most part, everyone is friendly, helpful, and nice. If you don't know what you are in the mood for someone usually has a pretty good suggestion. They keep me stocked up on coffee while I'm here so that's always a plus. I can't live without that stuff.
The young lady in there working I think her name is Vet, is running this waffle house better than any waffle house I've been in. It' was packed in there but the wait on our food was less than 10 minutes. I will definitely be back for breakfast.
The service was great! There were only 3 ladies working, and even though the customers were steadily coming in and leaving, they kept up with each table well with smiles on their faces and friendly attitudes. Donna was our table server, and she did a great job taking care of us!
The food has always been good here and the service and staff always good but after this pandemic, I couldn't tell you much because they never let us dine in. Just about every time we have went to eat there since covid, they've not allowed us to dine in. So we left and went to the one on North Main .

The usual Mel's diner feel but with better service.The sirloin steak is not going to be the best cut or without grissle. But tasty nonetheless.
