Great food. Pricey but what good BBQ isn’t. Great hickory sauce. Staff is super friendly.

This place has a delicious pulledpork sandwich, just the right amount of smoke and they had 2 hot BBQ sauces (red and vinegar) that were amazing. I had a half of a sandwich with each and can't pick a favorite. I picked coleslaw as a sideand slapped on my sandwich be that's how I like it. I tasted the coleslaw on its own and it was better than most places I've tried. The place was so clean and even the bathroom was spotless. The food came out quickly and exceeded my expectations for a quick walk in BBQ joint.I will be definitely be back.

Delicious food. The brisket, pulled pork and chopped chicken were moist and delicious. The beans and potato salad were also very good! Great place to enjoy some BBQ on our vacation!

Best Carolina BBQ. Took 4 lbs. home to the lake house while on vacation. Friendly staff and fast serves. Very clean establishment.

Staff was friendly, Food is ok, portions are small and a bit pricey. Sauce is ok. Brisket was over done. No ribs

Oddly enough the worst part was the bbq.Visited 5-17 at 11 when they opened. Order was taken quickly, and we sat down. One note about the menu. Mini corn dogs can't just be ordered. You gotta get a kid's meal. Kinda weird. Why can't we just order 5 to 20 of these by itself?Anyway moving on, food came reasonably quick, everything was hot except the Mac and cheese which was luke warm. I would have liked it hot, but I'm just grateful it's not microwaved. I'm looking at you Raines of Williamson ?Honestly though, the sides were great ?? sweet potato fries were the bomb, regular fries good and well seasoned. Mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole were some of the best I've ever had out. Really impressive. Oh and the cornbread wasn't sweet, but was good and buttery so it surprised me as well. The problem comes with the bbq though. It had an off taste, kinda sour or something. That was just the pulled pork, we also got brisket and boy was that disappointing. It tasted more like jerky which might have been good if it wasn't so damn dry. Also where is the fat? We absolutely love brisket fat, but there was none. The sauce was the same, kind of an off sour taste. I thought maybe our bottle was old but the others were the same. The mustard sauce wasn't so bad, but if prefer more honey mustard where this was more regular mustard. The wife did like the vinegar sauce though. All in all I can def see myself ordering family sides here, the bbq just didn't fit our taste at all sadly. Price was on the high side, if you want value you gotta go to little pigs at their jumbo pork plate is under $13 which feeds the wife, kid and myself. Here we got brisket/pork combo plate 1 drink and a kids meal and two toasted buns for almost $35. Brisket of course costs more but still.

I'm came to South Carolina from Florida to visit my parents, my daddy is fighting stage 4 lung cancer and he was craving some hash and let me tell you I got him a bowl and me a bowl to go and it was absolutely delicious thank you all for making my daddy's day I will come get some more before I go back to Florida 10 Stars if I could do it much love from my daddy and I both veterans ❤️❤️❤️

We had a graduation lunch for a large group here, and the service and food were outstanding! The menu was full of interesting choices and everyone liked everything that they ordered. Kim and team were so kind and helpful as we set up for the event. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the whole experience. I highly recommend the Pompous Pig for excellent BBQ, either for lunch/dinner, or for special events! Thanks, we will definitely return!

The pulled pork was good and the mustard sauce. In my personal preference I was not a fan of the slaw and beans.

Awesome atmosphere. Everyone was super friendly and I noticed the staff all takes Care to feed a really pretty stray cat. And most of all, the food DELICIOUS!!!
