This place is disgusting. They don’t season hardly anything and when you tell them it’s not good, they just say well I apologize that’s just the way we do it. The manager had every excuse in the book, but did not offer to remake anything or take anything off the ticket. I also asked the waitress for a sweet alcoholic beverage. She suggested something and I ordered it. It was disgusting as well, and NOT SWEET! Her response? We can’t take it off the ticket or remake it. But I can bring you more juice. That $17 drink sat on that table completely full. Worst seafood place in Anderson. This place used to be good though. It’s a shame.
I thought the food would have been better. I ordered the fried flounder platter. The fish was 80% breading and 20% fish. The baked potato was the best thing on the plate.
Waiter gave very poor service. He was nice but didn't seem to know what was on the menu or how to answer any questions. We even had to ask twice to find out what soda products they carried. Being a seafood restaurant I assumed the food would be much better. Everything tasted plain or poorly made from the shrimp, clams and oysters all the way to the onion rings. They did give large portions but the taste wasn't great so couldn't even finish most of the food. I had much higher hopes, but most likely won't be back
Food was wonderful. We always enjoy going there when I'm in the mood for fried Seafood. But the do have a really good Boiled Seafood plate as well. We love the Fried mushrooms and the Bang bang shrimp is not bad too. They used to have a pick 3 appetizer but for some reason they don't have it anymore but that was our go to appetizer. But it has red lobster beat hands down. A must try in Anderson. It's one of my Wife and I s go to spots. Try it out and enjoy.
went 4/13 like at 7:55 and was told only doing to go orders but people were sitting down in restaurant so no more hook for me.....
Food is absolutely AMAZING!! I didn’t try the seafood as I don’t eat meat, but I brought a group of seniors here and they said it was good too. I had a house salad to start and it was so big that I actually was full from it. But I had ordered hush puppies and the fried green tomatoes with grits. It was so good, that I had planned to take it to go, but ended up eating most of it.Also, I brought in 56 people, and they were quick and efficient!Definitely will be eating here again when in Anderson!!
Excellent food... Not Louisiana seafood, but damn close. Our server was very helpful and courteous. Will definitely go back when I am in Anderson, SC.
Been wanting to try this place for a while so on date night with my hubs, we finally went and it was fantastic! Our waiter was pleasant and courteous and stayed on top of our needs. The food was got, fresh, and delicious! We ordered the crab dip appetizer which was yummy.. He had ribeye and fried shrimp while I ordered the flounder. The portion sizes were massive and we ended up taking most of it home. We even placed a to go order for my mom-in-law and for a total of 65 bucks, we got 3 huge meals and an app! Was well worth the bargain. I highly recommend!
Clean and nicely decorated seafood place.Bathrooms were clean! Waitress was great! Now down to the food... seasonings were on point! Coleslaw was great, hushpuppies were seriously some of the best I've ever had, but what made me the happiest was the grits. Seriously the best I've had! (Which if you follow me, you know I enjoy lol) definitely WILL come again.
First time going there. Great seafood. Great selection. Great atmosphere., and our waitress was friendly and attentive…which is Hard to find these days. Thank you, and we will be back.
