Food was delicious! The owner made an effort to personally welcome each one of us and made sure everything was A-Ok!The peach cobbler and ice cream was out of this world!The friendly atmosphere was just the cherry on top. If you are ever in this area, I would highly recommend.
The price of the food on the menu is more when you get your check. I realize there is a (tiny) disclaimer on the front of the menu haphazardly taped on, that tells you the cost is more, but they also charge for things like gravy….on a hamburger steak. This generally comes standard elsewhere. The sides are not seasoned and portions are small. VERY OVERPRICED.
This place was two pricey. I bought two boondock birddogs and pickle chips and didn't even get a drink. The total just for mine came up to be $17 and some change. It blew my mind how much it was for a couple of birddogs and little order of pickle chips. I wouldn't recommend this place
Happened by as it was close to a church we were visiting. Good food, and prices were not jacked up unlike most in this economy/administration.... Food was better than Mama Penns on this visit.
Best fried green tomatoes I have ever had!! Chicken fried chicken with white gravy was delicious too.
Great southern homestyle food. Good atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The owner is extremely kind and involved in the business. Had some bird dogs, fried pickles, and hush puppies. Everything was tasty and fresh. I Highly reccomend this restaurant.
I ordered a seafood plater and was really surprised when it came with one piece of fish with fries and slawwhich with my tea was 20.30. The waitress was ok but they was stretched out l think one piece fish is not a seafood plater Don't think I will be going back

This is formally Carli and Tony's but had to relocate bc screwed over by landlord but same AWESOME meat and 3 I've had for years. Awesome staff too! I had Turkey, Dressing, Mac and Cheese and Veggie casserole. Mmmmmmmm! ?
