I eat here once a week for lunch. Staff is always friendly & food is fresh. It’s always clean & never had a problem.
Lots of space in this Subway! There is also a pizza place inside so you have two choices for a large family or group of friends. It's incredibly spacious and clean inside. This particular subway still has the spicy mustard available on the sandwich line. Subway corporate has stated they were getting rid of that condiment. So needless to say, I was pretty excited! All the veggies were very fresh and well kept. The tuna even had a fresher taste than other locations. I went on a rainy day during a weekday lunch date. It was not busy at 11:30-12. It could have just been the weather that day. Overall, I give this a solid 4 star review. Great place to stop near the gas station which was a 76 ( you don't see those anymore!) next door and fill up your gas tank and your stomach.
On September 30, 2021 at 4:45 pm I placed an order through the Subway app for delivery. The estimated time for delivery was 20 minutes. 6:00 rolls around and the app is showing they haven’t even started preparing the subs. I call and ask if they have started because if so I’d come get them, if not to just cancel it and id order something different. He said he’d cancel the order. I asked if the refund would be applied to my card and the employee said yes. I still haven’t been refunded as of 10/18/21. About 10 minutes after I hung up the app shows the subs being prepared and about 10 minutes after that it shows them being delivered. My app still shows me getting subs I never received. I’ve called to speak to the manager about getting it settled and they haven’t or won’t return a call. I’ve submitted something to corporate because you can’t speak to a human there. I mean MAYBE the food is good. I don’t know. They apparently enjoy taking money in exchange for not giving their customers goods and services and then literally not acknowledging it.
I ordered the Steak and Cheese combo and asked that it be toasted and unfortunately when I got the sub it was cold not even warm and the steak was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. I was not happy and will probably not go back.
Best Subway in Anderson (i love their salads and my daughter requests them A LOT. So, we know most of Anderson locations, lol). 81 North is the only one who always gets the order correct. The owner is always there and never stingy when you ask for extra veggies, sauces, etc. He always offer croutons for the salad because he knows the other Subways don't have them, lol. He did my first catering order today for volleyball. The 6ft sub was a huge hit with the girls. Just as ordered, on time & curbside service. Can't beat it!
If I didn't have to, this Subway would even get one star. Stale bread, incorrect order, wrong ingredients, raw bacon. They charged me for avocado which they left off the sandwich, as well as the cheese. They couldn't have gotten my order more wrong if they had tried. The guy in charge is surly and has the filthiest hands I've ever seen. Avoid.
This would be my second bad experience at a subway. Not only was the girl not friendly whatsoever she made it a point not to even try. I've been getting the same sub for a long time the same way every time. But she made it a point to put as little toppings as possible and when I would ask for extra she would roll her eyes. But with all said and done it was the nastiest sub from Subway I have ever eaten. And with all the things I've heard so far it doesn't surprise me at all. Time to find a new sub place

I didn’t know that subway closes at 9 on Sunday’s and usually people be mad that customers come at the last minute but these employees were actually very nice and respectful. They were nice enough to fix my sandwiches after closing time and I really appreciate that. I definitely will be back here. Thanks Subway and also thanks to the employees who were so nice tonight.
