Best hot dogs in the state. ?
The BEST dogs ever! Very courteous and friendly staff. Family oriented. Service is always fast. Our family has been eating at Skin’s for ever. Thank you for recognizing our son! Wish you would come to ELBERTON, GA!
Loved it! The Chilli dogs and cold pickle spears very good. Great service, too! You won't go wrong if you want a good hot dog. Try the chocolate pound cake, to die for!
The entire staff here are very pleasant and always greet you with a smile. The service is quick and efficient, and the hot dogs are the best in town!
Not sure why they have locations with dining rooms STILL closed. The new management seems to have lost its way compared to the way Mr. Thrasher would have wanted things run. The founder loved people getting together and breaking bread IN PERSON. This was never intended to be a take out only establishment.
How does a hotdog with me"everything on it" not include ketchup.It's disrespectful.
Skin Thrashers is one of my favorite places to eat. When I'm in Anderson, I always try to get hot dogs to go, always chili with them. So awesome. Wish there was one in Georgia in Hartwell area.
I want to preface this by saying that i eat hot dogs almost every day.I stopped in this place on my way back to Charlotte. The name appears to now be skin's. This was one of the worst hot dog places I've ever been to. I informed the cashier I had never been there before hoping to get a suggestion, but all I got was and air of hurry up and get out. I ordered a hotdog with chili. The bun was soft, and the dog was okay. I like boiled dogs. But the chili tasted like reheated potted meat. I've had better chili at the gas station. She didn't even ask if I wanted any fries, which I didn't even see on the menu anyway. Dining in didn't seem to be an option because she rang it up to go without asking. I definitely won't be back, and I don't recommend it to anyone else.
I live about 40 minutes away. I went 3/12/22 (placed my order online…so convenient!) and enjoyed my 2 chili dogs, chocolate chip cookie sandwich, and piece of chocolate pound cake. I plan to get my sister to stop by and get me chili dogs as often as she will since she works in Anderson. LOL
Been eating skins for years but got 8 to go today and get them home and you could see the weenie thru what little chilli they had on them. Very disappointed today. It's bad enough the dining room isn't open but now they skimp on chilli......... this happened at skins on hwy 81
