Very disappointing meal. Took 2-1/2 hours for a dinner for 5 people. Table service was OK. Kitchen was slow and disorganized. Food came out in stages. Meals came out at different times. Mac and cheese came out late and cold. Was really looking forward to a better experience.

Great service. I am very picky but the waiter was friendly and very helpful. We had food and drinks within a few minutes. Food was delicious. Blackened swordfish sandwich, fresh oysters and jumbo shrimp. We are adding this restaurant to our top 3 favorites.

First date night in a long time and we found this place online. It was close and had good reviews, Came in and sat at the bar with my husband because the place was packed. We ordered Oysters Rockefeller, BBQ sandwich, swordfish sandwich, and snow crab. It was all delicious and I do not eat oysters often. The mixed drinks were so good and the band was awesome! The bartenders had everything going on and still made time to ask if our drinks/food was good. 10/10 we will go back again!

My family came in and there was available seating immediately. The seating consists of chairs on one side and a wood slab as a bench. The bench is uncomfortable. We were not warned that there would be a long wait until an hour later when the waiter and waitress were panicking to get food out. We were offered comps then and we said no and waited. When the food came, one item was prepared incorrectly. The mac and cheese was terrible. It was cold and runny at the bottom and a large melted block of cheddar on top. Shrimp, crab legs, potatoes and sausage were average. The waitresses came by to collect plates and we sent at least half of the food that was brought out.The table beside me had a similar experience but said it was not like this in previous visits. The waiter came over and took items off the bill and gave comps for over half the food. I did not ask for compensation or discount. The waiter explained the staffing was low because of covid and he knew some of the food did not look correct. The bill after comp was $79.I left a $20 tip because the waiter and waitress were nice and tried to do the right thing. Not angry or mad but it was my wife's birthday so I was disappointed that she had to sit through it all.To be extremely fair, I did not try the beer, wine or oysters so maybe I missed something there. Unfortunately because of the experience and cost, it will be my last visit.

My wife and I took our sister and brother-in-law out to eat for his retirement. We had the steam pot and added crab legs. The food was excellent and the waitress was the best.

I was raised eating seafood in Charleston and NOLA, and this is hands down the most authentic seafood and oyster bar anywhere in the upstate. The food, drinks and service are exceptional every time. Shucks Oyster Bar and Restaurant is a must.

This place is awesome. I don’t know what sorcery they use when crafting their Shrimp Burgers but those things are on point every time I order them.Friendly atmosphere, employees are nice and sociable, good service, good menu…Shucks deserves every star, in my opinion.

I went with some friends. And unfortunately I do not like oysters, but I loved their pimento cheese dip. It had the perfect level of spice. I ended up getting Their shrimp soup which was pretty good.

Had low expectations BUT AWESOME outcome. Fried fish and burgers were great. Awesome local place!! Fantastic value!

One the best seafood meals I've ever had hands down. The bayou shrimp bowl was so good and the Low Country Boil tray with added crab was amazing. Reccommend 10/10
