I just stopped and tried to eat. At Popeyes, No mashed potatoes no Cole slaw. The chicken was very old, over cooked and dry. The best way to describe it is like eating peanuts with the shell on. And to top it off I never got a fork or anything to eat with. It scked. Never go to this store again.
Trash! No napkins, dirty lobby, nasty tables, water flooded from drink station to front door, loud and obnoxious employees displaying horseplay. One employee had a female come into the restaurant and have a loud confrontation with him while he was at work in the lobby which I found charmingly ghetto. No gloves, face, or hair coverings, they didn't have many of the items they advertise on the menu even though it was still on the reader board", so basically they didn't even have what I came in for", and after I settled for something else the cashier still input the order wrong and gave me regular chicken when I clearly stated " chicken strips". I'm surprised the health department hasn't shut the place down. I'd like to say realistically the experience was mediocre at best but that would be giving them away too much credit which they clearly didn't deserve not only for the display of unprofessional conduct, but severe unsanitary conditions. Worst experience at any Popeyes I've ever experienced Nation Wide in my over 20 years of eating at the franchise. ??
They were probably understaffed but the employees there were nice. Upon paying for my food at the drive thru window I was asked to park in front where then realized there were 3 other cars waiting for food ahead of me. When I finally received my order the tenders were hot but fries were cold, it was about 20 min wait from time I placed my order and receiving.
This was my first time here. We had the spicy shrimp tackle box. It was delicious. I don't know me spicy food, so was a little worried it would be too spicy, but it was perfect! Look forward to our next visit!
I have always loved Popeyes Chicken. I have been to several locations in various states. I so looked forward to this location in my town. I have been there 3 times over several months. My latest was a few days ago. I was there around 3 pm. I ordered a 10 piece family meal, with coleslaw, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes. This was through the drive thru. I was SO DISAPPOINTED when I got home. The chicken was all dried out an looked old. The coleslaw was just chopped cabbage awful flavor. The Mac was a glob of pasta and noodles. The mashed potatoes were good. I am sorry I just won't go there again
Pathetic Service, and apparently won't pay enough to retain staff. I have no idea how the food is.I've tried to eat here twice. One on the 27th of March 2022, and again on April 3rd. The March visit we went inside to dine in only to stand around for 20 minutes and leaving. They said the drive through was priority and they were short staffed so we can either wait an unknown amount of time to have an order taken or leave. We decided to leave and just wish they told us sooner.Tried again this time with the drive through on the 3rd, store was completely closed due to staffing. Funny though, there was another sign saying they were out of chicken sandwiches as well. I'm wondering how they sold out of something if they can't even stay open and do business lol
Like the spicy fish but "can't refund order for inventory not in stock because it's a mobile order?!! Corp Popeyes, y'all need to do something about that. Your app designer and IT people are dropping the ball or this store has forecasting issues or the free employee meal program has taken on it's own modifications.
For what they're doing, they're doing it well, although for me the chicken seasoning is somewhat bland, but crunchy. My last time there wasn't successful; drive thru line wrapped around the building and hardly moved. After 20 minutes of waiting I knew it was a no-go for me and left. Maybe next time will be better. I'll just think twice before going on Sunday.
I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo with coleslaw and a diet coke. Customer service was lacking. It felt like the employees were annoyed that they had customers. I received a regular chicken sandwich instead of the spicy sandwich. The chicken was tough. Coleslaw and diet coke were fine.
Great Food, And WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.. So many fast food places have become a dread to visit due to not being allowed to enter, Poor Customer Service, and extremely slow lines...BUT NOT POPEYES.. THEY STILL GETTING IT DONE WITH SMILING FACES So glad you guys came to Anderson, SC.... Can we get a 2nd location? PLEASE....
