Amazing salads ? ! Big enough for two to share! The chicken ? fingers plate was so delicious and the fries were really good too! Great Customer Service!! Love this place ❤! The employees are trained very well which makes a great impact on the business. I hate to see that the other location closed down by Outback and subway exit 19! That location was closer to my home but I will still travel across town to eat here. It's well worth the gas and time. Please don't close the doors on this location. Well worth the 5 star ? rating. Both locations! I don't see how or why anyone would want to give them a negative review.
Visiting for the first time today (Saturday 6/18) for lunch. The hostess was the absolute worst. Very unfriendly. It wasn’t just our own interaction with her - we had the misfortune of sitting at the table right behind her station - she was unsmiling and unwelcoming to everyone who came through the door. The waiter was literally the opposite - friendly and attentive.
I have been there several times. From steaks to sandwiches, it was always good, but you have to go there hangry. Burgers are 3/4 lbs, Sandwiches use plenty of meat, and the steaks cooked to taste, seasoned to perfection. They distinguish between medium and medium rare or medium well. servings are great for the buck.
My husband and I had a perfectly cooked dinner consisting of sirloin with cheese mashed potatoes and baby back ribs with broccoli. The food was filling and delicious and came with salad or soup. The honey butter croissants are a must...we got some for the road!
Oh my! What a wonderful experience! We went on a Wednesday evening for dinner. Right from the start the staff was very friendly and prompt. My girlfriend ordered the " blackened chicken Alfredo " with a house salad and I had the "sirloin steak and shrimp", loaded mashed potatoes, and the house salad. The salads were very fresh and the honey buttered croissant was to die for. My steak was grilled perfectly and the shrimp were lightly battered and fried just right. Her Alfredo was amazing with the fresh broccoli, tomatoes, freshly grated parmesan cheese, and of course the blackened chicken.It's a little pricey but you definitely get what you paid for enough to take home for a second meal. Best restaurant experience we've had here in Anderson, SC.
The food was good, but the customer service they really needed to work on. We received no greeting or anything when we walked in as if we were invisible. As soon as another customer behind us walked up, a young girl immediately asked for her name. It was one of her and three of us, and she still didn't ask to assist us we had to ask someone else if we were in the wrong place. Not until then did we get service.
Our waiter Chris was super awesome and patient!! Food was quick and amazing!!
We have visited J Peters several times over the years at several SC locations. Always great meals and service. Since moving to Anderson SC 3 years ago we gave our Business to both locations in Anderson. We enjoyed the early bird special prime rib in the down town location. We were Disappointed in the closing of the interstate location. We were overjoyed when it reopened it was out favorite dinner spot. Now after a short time it’s closed again. The service and quality of the food has gone down hill early bird special of prime rob is gone. Last 3 times there in months giving them a chance to improve and things haven’t. Last meal was Valen Valentine’s Day. My wife’s Broccoli was ice cold. My bake potato was old and dried out. My wife’s chicken was not good. I had told the waitress about the past 3 time the prime rib was so bad I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Had it improved? So I tried it was ok but not like it was a few years back you could cut it with your fork. I don’t think you are going to recover to times of early unless you make some drastic changes. Waitresses & food.
We could have spent less money and had the same low quality food at an Applebees.
