Great food and atmosphere! Our server, Lisa, was excellent. We were seated immediately at 7 pm on a Friday night and had our food in no time. Definitely try the Loaded Red Skin Potatoes. Delicious!
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Came here on a Friday night and the place was busy, but not packed. The server was friendly and funny, yet not too much. There were plenty of vegetarian options. Seating options include inside and outside (outside is under the North Murray Ave bridge).
Great food and great prices. Had the meatloaf, with fried goat cheese mashed potato balls. It was fantastic. Topped it off with the peach cobbler. Great meal.
Friendly staff. Great gin and tonic on a hot day. Burger could have been a bit pinker, but the life hadn't been cooked completely out of the patty (barely).Features: Very light lunch crowd on my visit. Nice ambiance and no trouble keeping my distance.
We love this place. The food is always outstanding. The restaurant is old with it's original brick walls. We love to sit outside underneath the bridge. Just a neat place to sit. Lots of seating space and tables. It's quite a large restaurant, the waiters and waitresses we've had have left us with good experiences. We always take our guests who visit from out of town here. Go. You won't be sorry.
I've been to Anderson many times, even worked there a lot, but tonight my wife went for a few night just for a short get away. I never tried this place. Glad we did. Great food, but even better service. Summer was our waitress. She was fantastic. She looked extremely busy yet still checked in on us to be one hundred percent certain we had everything we need and we're completely satisfied. She definitely sets a high standard for what servers should aspire to. If I've had better service, I can't remember it. She was excellent. The Meatloaf was a little different but great. My wife loved her pulled pork sandwich and collards. We also splurged on jalapeno cornbread bites and Earle Street Nachos. Both were superb. Looks like I'll be coming back to Anderson sooner than I thought.
This place is a MUST!! Drinks were good and the atmosphere was fun.We had the chicken and waffles & the chicken melt. The chicken and waffles my fiancé would go on and on and on about. He’s the one making sure I write this review. He had the entire plate gone within minutes and said he needed more.I had the melt and it was perfect. The sauce and the apples with it …. Delicious! I’m never one to finish a meal and was stuffed but made sure to eat every single bite. We will most definitely be back! The only thing we hated were the tiny chairs. They sat so close to the ground. The tiny glass table we were seated at was very uncomfortable and made the table look dirty. Would only recommend they get better seating. It was the only downfall being uncomfortable and we aren’t very big people. Im 5’4 and 120 pounds and he’s 6ft and skinny but it made for an uncomfortable meal sitting down that far and on that tiny table.
Always fantastic food. We had everything from burgers to shrimp and grits at our table. I had the black and blue salad with steak and I'm really picky about how my steak is cooked. It was on point (medium rate). Great atmosphere as well. Very laid back. There's a bar as well but it doesn't feel like a bar. Family favorite!
The meatloaf was recommended so I got the meatloaf sandwich and I am so glad. It was fantastic with goat cheese mashed potatoes. I will be back.
Poor buffet options for $18. All the FRIED chicken was over cooked. No baked chicken at all. The menu was lacking in options. Not enough servers. The 2, yes 2. Were going crazy trying to help everyone. And they set large tables for them. Only one person at our table had the buffet because of the options. But we sat the there over 30 minutes waiting to order. We will not go back. I felt so bad for those servers. Management needs to do better!
