Sad to say, this was somehow allowed although I'm not sure the staff caught the couple that actually SNUCK this dog in. I'm OK with service animals, but this was a PET. Leave them at home. Please don't subject other people to YOUR STUPIDITY. I personally don't want your pets hair in my food. You cause people like me who are OK with animals that ARE nessesary to really leave a review I would not ordinarily do. Please be more considerable in future, but I know you won't cause that's just how people like you are.
I am only giving this a five star because of one employee she said her name was alia. She was the only person up front that was kind! The other girls were completely rude i have never seen customer service so bad rolling eyes snarky tone everything i swear but alia was so accommodating and sweet thanks for turning things around for us alia!
Fries were cold. Chicken has an old oil smell and tasted bad. Dry. Peach cobbler had zero taste and was a raw blob. Very disappointing! Aiken sc location
Living in Columbia SC, as a retired Army veteran, I drive to Aiken for medical treatment, I was waiting to be seen, and browsing on social media for something to eat before taking the drive back to Columbia, came across Shane's Rib Shack, stop by to check them out, got my food to go, smelling so good, ok what did a brother do? Opened up the plate started eating with my fingers, People Stop by, OMG x 2, food is pass off the chain, as a Master Chef, I can tell you, you will not regret stopping. My trips now include Shane's Rib Shack. S.O.P GOOD JOB ENTIRE STAFF.
This is the absolute worst bbq we have ever had! The sampler tray awful, the big daddy sandwich awful, the kids boneless wings awful, bbq chicken sandwich awful, the kids chicken fingers awful, the sweet tea awful, and all the sauces were watered down and awful. We just wasted $68 in food that was wasted bc it was all absolutely disgusting. Never again. Please save your money and spare your stomach, eat elsewhere!
I have always had good foods at this Shane's in Aiken and at other locations. Yesterday's "Dinner Plate Sampler" was a disappointment. Ribs were fatty, chicken "tenders" were very small and dried out, pulled pork was a very small serving. Side orders were good. Realize that times are tough and product servings are smaller. BUT! Not going here again...
Honestly, not great at all. Everything is covered in the same sauce, no crisp or smokiness to anything, vary bland. The fries were the most delicious thing on the menu. We tried tenders, wings, pulled pork, half chicken, ribs, and boneless wings. Not a repeat for us.
Awesome !! Will be returning to eat again with my husband and we are bringing friends with us. Always friendly staff.. Awesome food!!
Went last night for dinner. Its been a while since I had been so decided to change it up. Got 2 samplers chicken tender basket and all American hamburger. $55. Food was awful. Not worth the price. I got the chicken with the sampler versus the pork. I would bet it was Swanson in a can with bbq sauce. Potato salad was crunchy. Chicken tenders were hard 2 swallow(way overcooked.kinda imagined them turning into dust at any moment)I thought I remembered it being good a long time ago but idk what happened.
No ice for my drink on my last visit and the young lady didn't care in the slightest. Said it had been out all day and no one bothered to get a cooler and go get bags of ice I guess. This visit the BBQ was cold, fries were cold and my baked beans were the only thing hot and they were scorched of all things! Owners, you need to get in your businesses and start working! You are losing business. You lost frequent customers today. I can't say forever but for a long time for sure. These kids don't care about your business, do you? Get in there and work it if so!
