Friendly, helpful service and family friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious and they serve big portions. They have a few vegan options including the avocado toast. I would probably include a splash of lemon and a sprinkle of salt on the avocados. My daughter had the cinnamon roll pancakes and she loved it! She said they tasted just like cinnamon rolls. She didn’t even have to use syrup.

The service was great. The food was good. The chicken (Chicken and Waffle) was so crispy and good. For some reason I couldn't taste much flavor from the chicken so the syrup with Louisiana hot sauce worked well. The strawberry butter was a disappointment. The butter looks and taste like it came from Sam's Club Shamy Strawberry Honey Butter. I was hoping for real strawberry in the butter. My husband like the chicken pot pie. The fish and chip I had the other day was really crispy. Overall, the price may be on the high end, but the food and service make up for it.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of kids in the restaurant. They do have kids menu. Parking: Parking is a limited since it's share with other stores.
Came to Metro Diner for gluten friendly breakfast. I am quite sensitive to gluten. Our server, Debbie, was great. She asked the manager to speak to us since I have other food sensitivities. Mike, the manager, came to our table and asked what I wanted. When I told him he said no problem and that he would personally make it himself. He made me a wonderful plate of hash browns, bacon and gluten free toast. Highly recommend this accommodating restaurant with good food and portions.
Best breakfast in Aiken with the smoothest ran kitchen around. Kitchen staff always have smiles on their faces and produce a superb product. Our server, John was fantastic as well with great service and personality. Always a great meal!
I paid 50 bucks on Sunday 5/15 door dash for 2 plates of shrimp and grits. Only shrimp sauce no nothing..
Great food, made to order. Best kept secret? Sit at the bar in front of the kitchen. The kitchen staff are some of the happiest people. It's like a show listening to their singing, joking and enjoying their job while they fix your meal. The breakfast crew is simply amazing! Good service, good prices... can't go wrong!
WOW Metro Diner is excellent! We had breakfast here yesterday and came back for dinner tonight. The food is off the chart good. The service and atmosphere is unbelievably amazing. We will definitely be eating here again.

Had cheesy grits & veggie omelet. Veggie done perfectly and grits were amazing. our waitress, Gabby, was such a delight !!
