The food and service was good, I just hope you don't mind enjoying your wonderful Italian dinner while eating with a plasitc fork and knife. Either they are stuck in the Covid deal, although we weren't required to wear a mask (in which case I would have not stayed for dinner) or, they are just cheap. A fine dining experience to the tune of $50.00 should warrant real eating utinsils, not toy plastic play ware. I would have gladly given a four star, but... All this is my personal opion and belief. Take it for what it's worth.
We had heard good things about Fernando’s but our dinner last night was not pleasant. The restaurant was very clean and our server was wonderful. The food is unfortunately the short coming. I had the chicken Philly and my partner had the chicken parm. My Philly was barely toasted and all the vegetables in it were raw. Not how a Philly should be. The chicken parm was only a small piece of chicken and then a lot of pasta. Chicken was not crispy. We probably won’t be coming back.
Well this particular Fernandos was good we celebrated my birthday there for lunch I had a spinach and cheese calzone and then found out it was also the cooks Bday, we celebrated his too...✌❤?it's a great place to eat
We have eaten at ferrandos every since they started in the valley many many many years ago! Food and service was excellent back then! First started so business was great! Now on Richland ave! No way last time the food was cold and I always get a Stromboli and it stays hot inside for a long time after cooking! Not this time ! And the waitress was so confused and slow about taking our orders and bringing the drinks and food out ! Nope not no more !
Friendly service, fresh food, real italian food. It has a great atmosphere, great place to get away from hustle bustle relax with friends. You will not be disappointed.
My husband and I just walked out because we made our way to a table and the waitress snapped at us and told us she don't have time to clean tables and sit somewhere else. There really was not anywhere else to sit. Her attitude was uncalled for. I can understand be extremely busy and understaffed but if she can't handle it then she should work else where.
Clean, Lots of Meat Pizza was great. Crust was perfect. Waitress spot on. Out boys told us we needed eat there tomorrow.
Our experience at Ferrando's sadly did not meet my expectations. I had heard good things about it and we decided to give it a try.Ill start off by saying that our server was great as well as the other staff members we interacted with.We ordered the cheese bread - this was the only thing that I thought was decent. It could have used a bit of salt in the dough, but otherwise it tasted good.Our Mozzarella sticks didn't seem to be made in house, and I did not like them.My husband order a Stromboli, and he said it was okay.I asked my waitress if the pasta or pizza was better. She said she preferred the pasta, so I went with the baked ravioli with meat sauce, and I added sausage to it, and picked a Ceasar salad to go with it.. salad was meh, But edible. The pasta was not a good dish. It was sweet, the meat in the sauce was dry, and It felt like it was microwaved, not baked ( I did not ask, though. This is just my assumption with the uneven heating and lack of browning on the cheese on top)I ate one ravioli and tapped out.Overall, pretty dissatisfied with the food taste wise.Based on the dough from the cheese bread I wish I had gone with the pizza, it would probably have been more enjoyable.Also, it didn't seem like there was anyone in charge there. We asked if they had military discount, they said yes, but came back to say that no one who knew the code to the discount was there. It wasn't a huge deal not to get the discount, but shouldn't there be a manager there? And shouldn't a manager have access to these codes?Overall, dissatisfied, and it's not somewhere we would want to revisit if this is the quality of their dishes.
The service was awful. The salad was awful. The calzone was barely edible. We are never going back to this place. There were no other customers in the place and no one ever checked on us either after we received our food. Absolutely horrible.
The only reason I am giving 1 stars is because I can't give it 0 stars. Horrible service, took to long to get food. We were there for an hour waiting for our pizza, the waitress was absolutely rude and had a horrible attitude. I will not be back!!! ? Also they raised the prices and did not inform us until we got our ticket and noticed that a pizza that was 22 in the menu was over 26. The pizza was greasy and tasteless. Also they had no straws!
