Beware of the service at the Aiken, SC Cracker Barrel! So we went Father's day morning for breakfast with a party of 9 had an hour wait so we sat outside and played checker with the grandkids and I opened my father day gifts time passed. We sat down at the table our server's name was Karen and the service was phenomenal! The food was pretty good too. Then came dinner we go back to Cracker Barrel in Aiken,SC with my dad, wife and siblings a party of 5 there was no wait sat right down the server's name was Sarah, she took our order and pretty much disappeared the food came out or at least most of it anyway. I sat and watched everyone eat there meal for about 15-20 minutes and my chef salad never showed up, so I went and spoke to the manager and about 10-15 minutes later my salad makes it to the table and as I voiced my displeasure to the server about the service she proceeded to cop an attitude with me and asked me if I wanted my salador not. That pretty much put the icing on the cake with Carcker Barrel for me.Very Dissatisfied Customer

I absolutely meant to leave this review on Mother’s Day 2022, but a current conversation about this location brought me here. The young, blonde girl at the hostess desk is absolutely not fit for the position and clearly doesn’t prefer to tend to black customers. Her energy fits right into the racist connotation that comes with Cracker Barrel as a franchise and whole. I literally had to walk her through how to greet me and my mother starting with saying hello when patrons arrive at your station….and that’s without ever being a hostess in my life. Her friend (not coworker) who stood there at the podium even felt the tension she created the minute we walked up. She kept her eyes on her friend due to the discomfort. Quite disturbing when a child that age already portrays this image. Needless to say, I still added our names to the list but left before they called me. What she said would be no less than a 60min wait was only 17min which to me was her tactic to not get us to stay. Ew, never again. I’ll take my hard earned dollar elsewhere any and every single time I’m in my hometown to visit my mother.

Nothing it is great ??. The service is always good

Ordered online through their website for curbside pick-up.Website said 19 minute wait. I arrived on time and called to let them know what number parking spot I was in. The lady said it had just come out of the kitchen and she would find someone to bring it out to me.I patiently waited for 18 minutes. Called again to ask if I could "Please have my food"Another lady "checked on it" and said she would bring it right out.The food was room temp which ruined my Mom's fries and no way butter would melt on cool biscuits. If you choose to order curbside, you will HAVE to go inside if you want hot food!!! ?

Called FOR curbside pick UP. Got THERE. Let CBarrel know I'm in the parking spot in front and they said I HAD to come inside to pickup. Duh THAT'S WHY I chose curbside. GOT inside AND it WAS super grounded WITH animals ([email protected] k9s) another reason why I didn't want to go inside. LONG story short. After being inside FOR an hour..... My order WAS sitting behind the cashier THAT told ME I HAD to wait. Food WAS super cold AND they changed over$40. FOR 2 orders of French toast. NEVER NEVER AGAIN. Promise you. Oh yeah forgot the racist part ON PURPOSE. No typos I swear.

Coffee, pancakes, and service excellent. Sunnyside eggs were near raw and bacon not crispy.

Food was good. I went on a Sunday morning, the atmosphere was really salt like. I felt like a single piece of pepper that got strange looks from the older grains of salt that were sitting close by. From their conversation they were a little salty because i was seated close to them. I held my remarks and thoughts and kept them to myself. Eventually asking for a to go container, but I really just felt like I didn't belong there ??‍♂️. I can't fault the establishment; it was the townsfolk. That experience was so different for me, it totally took away from the restaurant experience, so much that I couldn't even tell you if my waitresses service was good or not. For me, it would be carry out only.

Excellent food. I ordered the pot roast dinner and it was home cooked goodness including mashed potatoes, collards and pinto beans w biscuits. I ordered and paid via app and did curbside pickup. Every aspect of this process was easy and hassle free.

Our party of 12 arrived this morning and were told it would be a 45 min wait. After an hour, we were seated at 3 separate tables. We asked the manager and several waitresses if and when we could be seated together, nothing. We watched for several minutes as at least 3 tables of 4 and one table of 6 were seated after us. When 2 people from our party asked the manager his response was to gaslight my cousin and say he was being disrespectful. So when someone has a complaint it's now considered being "disrespectful." The entire thing could have been handled In 20 seconds and instead the manager Mr. Winston would rather deal with multiple bad reviews, calls and complaints to the general manager and corporate. We also brought out our grandmother who is wheel chair bound of which there were no accommodations and after working so hard to get her settled were pushed out into the cold after an hour and a half wait, no food and a horrible experience. We had people in our party that had traveled from Atlanta to see our grandmother and they expected us to sit at 3 separate tables. We won't be returning. Word of advice, if the manager can't "manage" pushing 3 tables together for a large party after an hour he needs to find a new career.

Always a family favorite!Last night we went and had a minor issue with our order! The manager was very apologetic, and extremely kind! You could tell they genuinely cared and did everything they could to make it right! (Even though I didn’t feel it was a big deal!)The whole staff was very kind and helpful!
