The server was not very well versed in the knowledge of the menu but he was pleasant and attentive. I was pleased to see a Moscato available on the wine list and it was light and sweet. The bread was warm and served with butter and oil with roasted garlic. The Caesar was a fail as it was served with powdered Parm and for the price, real shaved Parm was expected. I asked for the tuna to be served at a medium temp and it came out well done. The risotto was cooked perfectly but lacked in flavor and the crispy greens were interesting but should've just been a garnish and not a side, in my opinion. The canoli was delish. I don't plan on returning because it is over priced for the quality of the dishes available. My friend had the veal picatta and remarked that it was tough but loved her tiramisu.
My husband and I went on Thursday night for his birthday. We absolutely loved it! The service was great and the food was delicious. We had the stuffed mushrooms, caesar salad, chicken parmesan, and lobster raviolis. We could not stop eating the bread with their garlic oil…mmmmm. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée and they also brought out a cannoli with “Happy Birthday” written on the plate for my husband. Very thoughtful!!! We will definitely be back.
Tonight is my Birthday and my spouse made reservations to this place, however, Not the best service. We were told multiple times your food is coming, then they said they had a party of 15… Once Mr V advised them after 1 1/2 hours that we just wanted our bill the waiter sent a female to us (whom didn’t advise us of whom she is) the young lady stated there was a party of 15 upstairs. My spouse then advised her of the party of 4 whom came in after us already received there food, the waiter and young lady just exclaimed about the party of 15.This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant and we just had Olive Garden service at upscale pricing. We run a business and would never treat one of our patrons this way.
Experienced an unforgettable night.we always thought that the house salad was the introduction to the.Establishment. We were presented with a salad containing.romaine core stems with no visible green. It was a chore to attempt to eat the house salad. We both ordered the fresh catch and one diner ordered a side dish of pasta which was to be substituted for the vegetable side. The fish was perfect the vegetable you could have omitted . My guest sent the entree back to have the vegetable removed and the pasta which was ordered to replace the vegetable. This was obviously a server mistake. The dinners came out on a cool tempered plate. So we ask for the entree to be replated on a hot rather than cold plate..After the kitchen made a good attempt of superheating the plate it is now ten minutes and and the other diner, myself, had finished eating.. We came together to eat together. ..last visit here
This was the third time in the last few years we have eaten here. Each time we arrive, the greeter has an incredibly cold defensor. She set out menus on the table, turned and walked away without a word. We sat at a high top at the bar and the bartender/server had pretty much the same attitude. .We got the lobster ravioli and soft shell crab as a main dish and bruschetta and oyster rockefeller as appetizers. The flavors were great and the portions were perfect. It's a shame about the staff's attitude, It really detracts from the food and ambiance.
Took my girl for her birthday. After an hour and a half, I asked where our food was. I was told by the manager that a party of 15 was more important than my girl’s birthday. We left and picked up pizza on the way home. Thanks for a sh__ty night Casa Bella.
Arrived at a Saturday night with no reservation so I'm taking that into consideration. However, at the time we arrived, the restaurant was not busy and many tables were empty. We were greeted at sat and told by the hostess that she would be back with menus. It took about 15 minutes for her to return. The entire service experience was mediocre at best.Food: Chicken Marsala was very salty.Chicken picotta was good.Overall, environment was nice, lot of potential given the history but this particular experience left much to be desired.
Best food in town. Service always great.
Haven't eater here in 5 years. Used to be our second favorite restaurant after the Willcox. I had the Linguini Alfredo which tasted like someone dumped a store bought jar of white sauce on pasta. My daughter splurged and had the lobster ravioli and it was so bad she sent it back. The clams and pasta made my husband sick (and he said tasted like clams in campbell's tomato soup. The Ceasar Salads were tasteless. The baguette tasted like it was from the grocery store. Very expensive for Cisco grade tasteless food Even the bottle of wine we bought was tasteless. So sad. The food there used to be remarkable.
Food is awesome, the portions are filling and the staff/ management is incredible. Make a Reservation.
