Went to Applebee’s for Father’s Day and was totally disappointed. Waitress (Ashley) took forever to take our drink order and then took forever to bring our drinks, she was too busy eating her meal at another table with all the other servers and staff. Entrees arrived, (Bourbon Street steak), under-cooked and fries cold. Left without eating, waitress never asked to refill drinks, no manager in sight…WORST SERVICE EVER! I do not recommend this restaurant!
Our experience on 6/10/22 was terrible. We were seated at a dirty table. Crumbs on the table and in the seats. Our waitress wouldn't hardly give us time to talk without interrupting us. The appetizer was ok. Chicken was hard. Our entrees we're awful. The chicken breast was palm sized at best,the shrimp looked like popcorn shrimp on the top. The mashed potatoes were instant like with bacon bits in them. My husband had to wave the waitress down 4 different times to ask for drink refills. Then when we got them,she dropped them down on the table and ran off. I have never been more disappointed $52 dollar's later. To me the place looked fully staffed but so I don't believe they were short handed. When we were ready to go,I had to track someone down to pay so we could leave. I overheard other customers complaining as well. I won't go back that's for sure.
Hostess was very accommodating to our needs, as I informed her that one of our party would be needing to leave for the airport. she provided us with seating and in an area that she believed we would be able to have our order taken the quickest. This was very effective as the waitress we received was very capable and again very accommodating to our short time available. Our drinks never went below half our glass, and our food was delicious and came quickly.
We, My sister and baby girl, had a great time with the southern hospitality of our server but it takes a team to pull off the 5 star rating I give. If your in Aiken and looking for kid friendly and good service with excellent food with your friends, family with kids or not, stop in... you want regret it.CEO and Founder of Trinity Management
It was clean, and service was quick and friendly, despite the store nearly being packed out for dinner. Food was great!
They were understaffed and the house was full. Everyone was still in good spirits and our food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. They accommodating to my gluten allergy as well. Alex was our waiter, he was great! And to the other Alex, in the kitchen, my 7 year old praises the dish he got.
When we got there we were told it was going to be a long wait because they had dinner parties going on. We decided to sit at the bar have a couple drinks while we wait. The bartender Candace was awesome and we ordered our food at the bar, everything came out so fast I was presently surprised! It was a great night out for my husband and I:)
Poor service food was terrible. Items came from the kitchen overcooked and dry. The chicken and shrimp entree look like it had sat in the window for several minutes before being served. Plating was sloppy looking. Overall feeling in the restaurant of the staff going through the motions, no passion, nobody cared. Applebee's was never the best choice but it has severely declined. They also force you to use the QR code menu we were told that the server would get in trouble by management if they gave us a paper menu.
The food is absolutely amazing!! But unfortunately they seem to be understaffed and the wait time is very long. It may be worth it to those who have the patience.
Not sure if our waitress was sick or what or coming off long day. Not friendly at all. I can handle it cause she got order right fast to refill. The food was hot and tasty. Could not give 5 stars because my salad had plastic wrap in it or something in it and salad came after my entrée. Also note going to no menus. Which i do not like. As i do not want my phone passing other hands because everyone cannot do qr code. Also Had elderly person who can't see small menu on phone. They need a few paper ones or something alternative. This could keep us from going back
