What a beautiful place this is. I sat outside in the area shown in the photo, but the inside has a very interesting, almost medieval kind of feel. I didn't like the smell inside; not sure what the smell was, or if it's always there, which is why I ate outside. I ordered a burger, fries and chicken wings, and they were all good but not great. The burger was a lot smaller than the bun, and the wings (i got them like mamma makes style) had an ok but kind of odd flavor. The prices were okay. I actually think it's worth eating here once just for the interesting environment.
Had the baked haddock meal. Barely had 3 oz of fish. I looked like a childs portion, not an adults. The potatoes had more flavor then the haddock. Not a dish I would ever order again there. Also, I was shocked by the number of customers coming and going with their dogs in tow. Granted they were on the outdoor patio, but several of these dogs barked thru my entire visit. Not as pleasant as it has been before.
Made a reservation and was seated at a high top table that was unstable and very wobbly. We asked if we could switch to another table and we were told no, they tried putting pieces under the table to even it out but it really didn't work, made it very uncomfortable when eating. Ordered the buffalo chicken dip appetizer which came to us luke warm, ordered Caesar salads for before our meal which came out literally a minute before our main entrees. Our entrees as well were warm at best, not even hot. This was a one and done experience, never going back. We visit stadium theater often and will support other restaurants in the area instead.
They were so thoughtful. I had made a reservation for a party of 15 and I received a call before the time and was asked if anyone in the party would have an issue with stairs or high top stools. I was a good thing they called, because it would have been an issue, but they had the forethought to call! Also when we got there our server was wonderful, friendly and just a lot of fun. Joking with us and making us laugh and everyone was happy with the food they ordered!
I got the steak tips and only got 3 pieces of meat. The steak knife was too dull to cut it up. Potatoes were very bland and zero flavor. Only saving grace was the Sangria. Food was okay at best. Not worth the $20 for the steak tips. I found a small tomato cut in half that was absolutely NOT on list of ingredients. I can not have seeds due to dietary issues. The pain is excursiating. Waited a very long time for the check after our plates were taken as well. Good if you just want to drink though. Food was just expensive pub food.
My friends and I went tonight before the show at Stadium Theater. Unfortunately I was not impressed at all. Our server I think his name was Noah he wad very attentive. I ordered a Ceasar salad the lettuce was so wilted and brown and I also ordered the Haddock and my dish was very watery. It was very dark and dingy. The only one good thing was the service. I did not complain about my food just ate and left.
Easy to find and plenty of parking. Indoor atmosphere is really nice with the old tavern Medieval look. Check out upstairs if you like that theme! We came at a busy time but were able to get seated. Our server Paige was superb and the food was fantastic. The food presentation was great. This is a gem in Woonsocket. If you are in the area perfect, If you are not put this as a pin to visit.
Wicked unique atmosphere. Kind of 15th century. Our waiter Chris was right there when we needed him but left us alone to enjoy ourselves. Food was great! The poutine fries were great and covered in gravy, yum. Definitely be back!
Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. Take out - poutine was fries and gravy (how do you forget to put anything else like .... idk .... curds??) And the penne vodka was such a small portion I could see the bottom of the to-go container (pasta is ghe cheapest thing to make and your charging $20 for what amounts to less than a cup of cooked pasta?!). $36 dollars for what? What a waste. Shameful.
Delicious food and fantastic service. Definitely recommend
