Came to Mizu last night for the first time. Restaurant wasn't busy but the Hibachi area seemed lively. Waitress and bartender both waited on us. They both were very friendly. Bartender was a younger gentleman and was very friendly and personable. Drinks were spot on. I enjoyed a mocktail and also ordered a large hot sake to share with my husband. We each ordered off the Hibachi menu. Our meals were hot, fresh and delicious. The Hibachi soup is so simple and delicious and is my favorite!! The dressing on the Hibachi salad is to die for. Would definitely return.
Food and service is great when you eat there so I wanted to do take out(covid-nerves). Instead of ordering online I went down the street to order and wait the 15 mins. Ordered the food and paid told 15-20mins on the bench, I was OK with that, what I expected. I waited more 45-50mins (maybe they forgot I was there IDK :( ). I am happy they are busy and apparently thriving, but wish they gave me my food sooner, 45-50 mins is a bit much, especially when it was sitting there the whole time and not given to me when it was ready. Next time I'll order on the phone...
Absolutely the worst I’ve had in a long time. Tiny portion of dumplings, which was the only thing that was edible. The salad was a joke and the dressing was terrible. And the sushi was just gross and not as described. No condiments, no soy sauce, wasabi or ginger. It was just terrible and cost me $30+. I ended up have to make something to eat after throwing most of it away.
Great place. Great gid snd fun
Cozy place , very clean. I’m take a signature roll and shrimp roll and was very tasty and flavorful. My partner take pal Thai beef and is was very good. Fine attention and good service. I’m recommend the place 100%. The price are good
Its 5pm New Year’s Eve, I called to see if there was a long wait time for a party of 2 and the lady on the phone said if it’s regular dining no wait, if it’s hibachi they have no tables right now, I said I’d like to dine in for hibachi and I asked if I can make a reservation for later (any time) and she kept repeating “no tables now!” Im trying to know if I can make a reservation since she said theirs no tables available right now and she hung up in my face.I understand it’s New Year’s Eve and they might’ve been all booked out for the whole night, but I literally just wanted to know if their was a wait, and if there is, can I make a reservation to dine in for hibachi at ANY point in the night.. I still don’t know if they were booked out for the entire night, or if she just assumed I needed a table specifically for right now since I asked if they had a wait time.. but im not even interested due to the hanging up.
Will never go back here. Unprofessional. Long story short if your white , they will be offended if you use chopsticks. Waitress will ask someone else too serv you if you decide too get up and get your own. “you dont need these” she says before even asking for our drinksThey have also refused too give a 16 yr old kid his paycheck. ( He got it after 2 weeks and bringing somone)Food is bland, Sushi is ok. Much better places too choose from either way
Ordered stir-fry beef udon, yakitori and spring rolls take-out. I didn't even manage to sit down before finishing it. The udon and yakitori were both amazing and the sauce that came with the spring rolls was delicious. Basically waiting for them to open tomorrow to order again.Eat this food.
We just ordered from Grub Hub for delivery. Their food is absolutely disgusting. The fish was grey. Noodles were hard. Dumplings still almost frozen. Called and the manager denied it wasn’t fresh. We asked for a refund. They said it all can’t be bad. We said we can bring it to you. They said deal with Grub Hub and hung up.
I'm a big fan of table side hibachi and hot sake and this place has both. It's local, and we had friends in and they both said their sushi dishes were great! If you have a chance you should give this place a try.
