We had the most wonderful time a couple nights ago. Our waitress Daedra was very efficient and pleasant. She made my bday dinner worth the wait! We had been waiting to get back to the crows nest since their reopening. We will be back we loved some of their new dishes like the ahi Tuna and tuna tower, as well as our old faves like the baked seafood platter. Love the new decor!

Delicious meal. Friendly, kind server. The baked scrod never misses!! Fabulous! The small plate was two meals!! Good bargain and consistently good food. This restaurant has been our RI staple for years. They know their audience and spoil it with those hot rolls!

We were out and about and have wanted to try the Crow's Nest since it reopened. The interior is done very well, comfortable and very up-to-date. The menu has, as my wife mentioned, small plates of their entrées which she and her mom loved. She had Chicken Piccata with two sides instead of pasta. She wasn't sure if our server Kara, heard the small plate as the portion was very large. I had Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and loved it. She loved her Chicken as well. We ordered Key Lime Pie for dessert, it was $11.95 and it was not the usual served at most restaurants. Today we are having Chicken Piccata, Fettuccine and Key Lime Pie for dinner as we could not finish our meal last night. The food is well cooked and well seasoned and Kara iwas very welcoming and a pleasure. We look forward to a return visit.

The restaurant’s renovations make the place look clean and contemporary. It’s nice to see familiar faces from the original staff such as Hunter at the bar. He goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. The menu has changed slightly to include a few new delicious additions. However, it no longer includes some classic Crow’s Nest staples such as the stuffed mushrooms, pickled beets, and prime rib. I’ll gladly switch my review to 5 stars if those are brought back as well as the transient docking slips.

The seafood was good but the broccoli tasted like they cooked it in lobster water. The portions were small for the price. They serve an older customer base so the food was a bit bland.

This was my first visit and frankly I'm shocked I had never been before. Probably because it's tucked away from the main road but I was impressed. I understand it was new renovated and the place looked great. The giant fish tank was amazing. The swordfish I ordered was a generous size and I look forward to going back to try other dishes on the menu. Very reasonable prices too.

Our first visit since the renovations. My wife had the Salmon and I had the lunch portion of the Chicken Piccotta. The coffee was absolutely abominable, it was so over roasted that it was bitter. But if you must, best it into unconscious, stir in art least double the sugar and cream, but drink it before it wakes up. The menu will continue to expand to include all the other old favorites. Some things haven't changed, service and kitchen are excellent.

the restaurant renovation is quite niceonce the TVs are added the vibe will change. lots of people enjoy TVs when they are out and about, i don't care for it. to each their ownthe cocktails are very inexpensive but they're also super weak so you have to order a shot on the side or else you're just drinking sour mixthe food is just okay. the best dish was the lobster roll. lobster ravioli is much too heavy from a pasta perspective, the sauce is gooddefinitely pass on the seafood platter, it's just seafood covered in bread crumbs so you're basically eating bread crumbs with a little bit of fish lolI'm surprised that the garlic bread doesn't come to the table for free, as the quality is really poor. super super dry and no garlic or butter.the key lime pie is expensive and not really worth the price.

My wife and I are VERY pleased with this Restaurant. We read some reviews that almost made us not come, but if we didn’t, we would have missed out because this place is GREAT!!! Clean, busy, very open and the Decor is perfect for the setting. The Clam Chowder was LOADED with clams and the “Portuguese stuffy” as an Appetizer was awesome. The Lobster Roll was as good as the ones I eat in Long Island where I’m from.Gabrielle, our server was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING…… We are from out of town and she suggested places in Newport to eat and party. She was professional, smiling and she knows the menu. Come on down and give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

Recently remodeled and under new ownership, the Crow's Nest is beautifully updated. An immense fish tank, starfish and all, takes up nearly an entire wall; waitstaff is friendly and working hard to please the steady stream of customers.I had the most delicious spinach salad with a mojito, while one friend enjoyed clamcakes, chowder, and iced tea, and the other had shrimp scampi, plus a glass of wine. All reasonably priced. The only negative was the atmosphere was somewhat loud considering the lack of carpet and other noise absorbing materials.Nice experience.
