Went for dinner on the water , the food and drinks were very good. Not sure if waiter was new but he spoiled things including on one of our party but he was pleasant attempted to make things right right away.
Food & service was great. Overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would recommend friends and family to come for lunch or dinner.
Lite lunch to catch up with friend. Beautiful weather that day, just a perfect place, just what we wanted. Had chowder and clam cakes and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Five stars!
Food was good, outdoor dinning was pleasant, had to kove away from speakers but end up in perfect seats. Service was outstanding our wait person was Abby
Really disappointed. I had a guest in from out of town and thought this would be a great place for summer dining. Raw bar: you canât really screw this up so it was good. Price per piece was really reasonable. Food: I had bake scrod and they had shrimp scampi. First, salads came out but we had no silverware. Waited and waited until I finally went and got some. As soon as we sat to eat, the food came. The scrod was way over cooked and there was barely any fish. Covered in a thick layer of almost burnt breadcrumbs and butter. Peas were slathered in butter and the rice was crusty and dry. It had a cup of tartar sauce (??) on the side that looked like it has been used. The scampi.. zero flavor- none. We had specially asked about it and if was good, had flavor etc. nope. And it had a ton of onions in it.. when does scampi have large chunks of tomato and onion in it? Dessert; sâmores pie⦠which was really just a thick blonde brownie with a layer of fluff then another brownie.. what?!?! Thatâs not pie! Service: she was pleasant but forgetful and should have managed the execution of the food better. Itâs not always the kitchens fault. I know this place is busy and crazy at times but thatâs not a good reason for bad food and mediocre service. Iâd go back for drinks and apps.. maybe. But otherwise, never again for dinner.
Waitress was exceptionally attentive. She listened to our requests and returned at least two times while dining to make we were taken care of. She had many tables she was waiting on outside near the musicians, where we were also dining. She was a very good waitress who listened and got the order correctly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced considering the venue and the music, which was also exceptional. We are retirement age and the music was definitely playing songs the we were very familiar with, which made the entertainment very enjoyable. We had a very nice evening.
I normally enjoy this place, but it was beyond busy, no place to park, the meal I normally get was not as good as it usually is. The drinks were too expensive as it tasted watered down. Made a reservation for this Friday, will be canceling it as I wonât be going back this season.
Great atmosphere and prompt staffing. Be sure to book your reservations in advance! Way too much butter on the baked scrod and green beans though. Calamari was excellent!
So much fun, live entertainment too! My family enjoys dining here & itâs easy with two young children.
