This is a sweet family owned bar steeped in history where the drinks are affordable and the vibe is mellow. I WISH that these some walls could talk. I wonder what they would say ? They have bar food but I would only eat here in the case of emergency, don't come here if you are truly hungry -- they only have a microwave to make nachos and reheat mac and cheese. The drinks are reasonably priced and there is a pretty good dart board (ask for the darts at the bar) and a solid pool table. I would absolutely come back.

Still asking for vax cards, mandates are gone and the bar tender still thinks they have special privliges. I'm vaccinated for the record, but I don't think the college kid pouring me drinks has a right to look into that. In fact if you want to be looking into people's medical records open a doctor's office. It's uncomfortable ? and I'm not sure what purpose it serves, I'm pretty sure you can't refuse to serve people that aren't vaccinated. All they can do is ask them to wear a mask. But you can't drink beer with a mask on which means they're going to walk away and immediately take the mask off to drink..... So it's an uncomfortable and pointless policy that immediately makes you feel like you don't want to be there the second you walk in the door. There's no way around it that's negative 10 points for service and they pour the same beer everywhere. One star. Change your silly policy you can go back up to 4.

CAUTION ⚠️ THE WILD COLONIAL HAS CHOSEN TO BECOME A DISCRIMINATORY BUSINESS.YOU MUST SHOW PAPERS ?‍♂️Was kicked out of Wild Colonial for not having my papers last night. We were there a week ago and no problems. It is clear that this business is now an agent for the state and government.Businesses DO have the choice to NOT be discriminatory and THIS ONE HAS CHOSEN THE PATH OF SEGREGATION AND DISCRIMINATION.Additionally, their attitude in shaming customers who are not complying is something they seem overly proud about.Completely disgusting attitudes. We hope they come to their senses and STAND UP FOR THEIR CLIENTS AND THEIR OWN RIGHTS AS A PRIVATE BUSINESS. Don’t be on the wrong side of history.GOD BLESS AMERICA ??

Awesome pub! One of my favorite places to grab aq beer with friends. Great selection of craft brews and friendly staff. One of the only places I feel comfortable going during COVID because there policies make it a safe place.

Me and my wife we’re refused service because we were unable to produce a Covid vaccine card upon request. For the record neither one of us are anti-vaccination, in fact we are both fully vaccinated. However, we did not think it would be necessary to carry our vaccination cards with us in order to get a drink at our local saloon.Despite being a loyal customers of this bar for many years we have decided to no longer give them our business. We do not believe it is appropriate to be required to disclose our medical history to complete strangers in exchange for a beer.

The bar area has this cool Old Country stone & brick decor. Good drinks and friendly staff!

The bar tender threatened to fight me outside last night because of her personal COVID politics. I've never been so afraid and offended by an employee. I've been going here for years but not anymore. My friend and I walked in, sat down and tried to order one beer and was refused. She asked for my our vaccine cards. I only had mine on me. Before we could leave peacefully she screamed at me in front of the whole bar because I said "you can still get covid after being vaccinated". She freaked out and yelled at me. She seemed mentally unstable or drunk. I am vaccinated and showed her my vaccinecard. It wasn't enough. She wanted to fight me outside. I'm disgusted. I would of just left if we need a vaccine proof that's fine but being screamed at and threatened is NOT OKAY. She was short tan skin curly dark hair on 10/28/21.

Dirty inside tables were all sticky. Heard the bartender screaming at a patron about covid. Very uncomfortable experience all together. I'll never be back. And not to mention the bartender wasn't wearing mask correctly anyway. Find any other bar in RI you'll have a better time.

Been to this bar a few times. Service is usually subpar, servers are rude and the selection of alcohol is very minimal. Nothing very memorable about this place other than how filthy the bathrooms are. They allegedly care so much about covid precautions yet the bartenders and servers don't even wear their masks. If they do, they have their nose outside of the mask. If I could leave no stars I would because they do not deserve it. Providence smells in general but this place is the epicenter of the garbage.
