Very cool brewpub with a great twist on traditional bar food and dinner favorites.Extensive beer and cocktail menu featuring great house-brewed and "guest" beers.Buffalo Chicken sandwich was a hit. Cauliflower tacos with chicken were a nice mash-up of flavors and healthy pub grub. Brussel sprouts were a flavorful addition with the garlic and peppercorn aioli.A selection of four-packs of cans are available to go. Mug club on Tuesdays.Friendly staff and warm atmosphere.
The bartender Kevin is super nice and attentive. The chili wings and burger are phenomenal! As are the mock tails ( which the bartender may have free-styled) I do wish they had a non alcoholic beer option (even though they sell beer sometimes you need or want a non alcoholic one).
Great food and service! We had the margarita pizza, which had a delicious sauce on top, and the apple salad with a vinegret, which had interesting seeds that added a nice crunch.
My daughter and I had lunch there on Sunday. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. Our server, Emma was so friendly and took great care of us. We ordered the calamari which was superb. My daughter had a Cesar salad with chicken and I had the chicken sandwich. Both meals were delicious! We will definitely go back.
Chef Scott was a gem, to say the least. He genuinely made my family's dining experience one to remember. From his amazing personality, to his generosity, to his hospitality, to his clear passion as a Chef, our experience was indescribable. Chef Scott prepared a steak specially for my Mom that was cooked to perfection. The rest of our party ordered the fish and chips and a chicken sandwich, also delicious. He visited our table multiple times to ensure our dining experience met his very high standards and it was evident that cooking was his passion. To top it off, he prepared this peach dessert for us and it's all I've been thinking of. Let me preface this by saying I don't like sweets. I never order desserts. I don't eat birthday cake. But the dessert that Chef Scott prepared for us was phenomenal. It wasn't very sweet but rich in flavor which is exactly what I need in a dessert. I can keep going about how amazing this experience was. I just want to thank Chef Scott and the staff at Union Station Brewery for such a fantastic dining experience. We will definitely come back to pay a visit the next time we're in Rhode Island.
Cool historical building. Good unique beer and root beer. Food was awesome. The enchiladas are flavorful and captures the authenticity of a Mexican dish served in a Pub. The steak tastes like a burger complimented with savory green beans and fries. The nachos are good too; fresh guacamole, good cheese. People here are great and friendly. Thanks.
Not bad. 3 of the 5 beers on tap tasted pretty much the same. Ambiance outside was nice. Servers got slammed so service was rough. But that's not their fault when your get blindsided with a 20-top of kids.
Had some great beers. The hibiscus and pilsner were by far my favorites. The double ipa and regular ipas were good too, just not as much my favorites. Did like the off selection of other beers as well. Good variety and friendly staff. Also get the bowl of clam chowder. You can get the cup but you'll want the bigger bowl as the cup just isn't enough of that deliciousness.
We live in the neighborhood and go there for dinner and drinks somewhat regularly and everything has always been great. I’m not one to write reviews however most recently we got married at The Graduate downtown and wanted to host a small post wedding brunch at our place but because of how many people ended up wanting to come (60 people!) we had to switch gears and find a venue to host us with only 5 days before the event. We were stressed, looking for solutions and while having a drink at the bar with Derrick. We asked if that would be something they might be able to accommodate and he introduced us to Chandra the manager. Holy smokes! She helped us arrange it, made us a mock menu we tweaked it and in less than an hour we had a new plan and we were ready to go! 5 days later both her and Derrick were both there and everything couldn’t have gone smoother. We had a small buffet with breakfast foods (chef Stephen did a great job) and bloody Mary’s, mimosas and coffee. It was super easy for our guest to get there from their hotels most of which were downtown. Service was great as always but more importantly the help they provided to get this party put together was next to perfection. If you ever want to plan a stress free party call Bar Louie! You will not be disappointed! Great job everyone!
Had excellent service from Jessica that works the bar ,she was amazing!!! Just like the the Moscow mule she made for me
