Typical diner faire. Ordered bacon, pancakes, eggs and fruit. I asked for my eggs scrambled with Swiss cheese. I ended up getting American cheese. They have a great sugar free syrup option. Service was friendly. Plenty of street parking. My only complaint is that the decor in this place needs a TON of work. Old toys on the shelves were collecting serious dust.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We sat at 11:10am and had our orders taken by 11:15. Sat with empty drinks and no acknowledgement from anyone who worked there. Server walked past countless times noticing empty drinks and no meals until 12:25pm and when we go up to leave she said "oh you have gotten your meals yet?" I get it, things get forgotten all the time and things happen but dont walk past looking at us over and over and expect us to hang around and don't act shocked when we get up and leave after and hour+ of no acknowledgement and empty drinks. Worst service we have ever experienced.
If you eat here be VERY careful when leaving a tip. I went and had lunch here and left a $5 tip, and instead of charger only that they added a one and charged me $15. Not only is this morally incorrect but it’s all VERY ILLEGAL. Be careful when eating here Bc clearly they don’t care about laws. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN.
Only been there twice so far but phenomenal both times. Food is great. Wait staff very attentive. Strongly recommend the country fried steak & the eggs benedict.
Had a breakfast meeting.Busy place! Typical diner / cafe type fare.Friendly " homey" hospitality. As in being called honey and sweetie in a legit way that just flows from the servers tongue as she's been doing her job on and off for 20 years.Turn those tables, if you linger tip 30 pct.Otherwise you're the way and holding the table.... See the line! ?
The service was tremendous! They handled our large group 2 days in a row. Everyone loved their food. The French toast was some of the best ever! Everything is delicious.
Visiting my boyfriend from out of town. He was very excited to bring me here. But the old lip stick on my coffee mug and hair in his potato cake really took away from the experience. If it wasn’t for all of these things they would’ve received 5 stars. This business really needs to focus more on cleanliness and codes that come from the health department.
Enjoy eating here. Usually stop for breakfast on my lunch break around 930am or so once a week. Usually get the biscuits and gravy and maybe half stack of French toast. Delicious.
This place is very nice to have breakfast or lunch. The place is small but is very well organized. Depending where you sit you can see the chef preparing the food. The teast of the food was good and the proportion was big.
The food is delicious, some of the only good food I’ve found in New England (judging from a southerner) !! The area is not the best, it’s right on the border of a good neighborhood and some really sketchy areas so just be careful when visiting. But the food is fantastic! Definitely recommend a visit.
