Ken Johnson is one of the best waiters we have ever encountered. The food was excellent - steaks were great and au gratin potatoes were delicious.. the asparagus was a little overcooked however the coconut cream pie made up for it 0 was out of this world!

As always, the Capital Grille delivers excellent food and service even on exceptionally busy nights. The price matches the quality so it may be for special occasions only as it was for us. We all loved the calamari without the RI hot peppers. It's the best we've found in all of Providence. Adding grilled shrimp to the Caesar salad transformed it into a meal. The Lobster Mac and Cheese could benefit from more lobster. The desserts are to die for--all that we tried from the cheesecake, coconut cream pie, and the chocolate pie.
Was a Birthday Celebration. Moment walking in the door there wasnât a thing to complain about. Love this place. Our Waitress Heather Hoegen was outstanding we loved her canât wait to go back and dine again we hope we get her again. Thank You Capital Grill Team.
24th anniversary
Capital Grill was an incredible experience from start to finish and made our 58th anniversary special. Parking was easy and convenient. Shortly after being seated at our table which had been sprinkled with tiny hearts we were presented with complimentary flutes of Champaign with a raspberry floating in it. The bread basket had a choice of 6 bread types, (all good). I ordered a steak with a Kona crust, my wife had lamb, for the table we ordered Au Gratin potatoes and grilled asparagus. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Every staff member we encountered bent over backwards to make the night special. Of exceptional service, was Jorge Soto whose recommendations and attention to detail were impeccable. As great as everything was, he constantly found ways to make it better. Also of special note was assistant server Harrison. There was even another couple celebrating their 52nd anniversary that dropped by our table to congratulate us. Somehow when my wife leftovers were being boxed her dessert was inadvertently thrown out. Jorge put together a miniature version for her to take home. All in all a night to remember and Capital Grill will be our go to place for special occassion.
