Cute but on pricey side. We ordered the savory toast with a fried egg ($10) and the avocado toast ($8). The café is also very aesthetic and “instagrammable” if that’s your thing. The coffee was average, nothing special, but they do have oat milk, which is nice. Overall would recommend if you’re looking for a cute breakfast place/coffee shop.
Went to Sydney Providence for the first time a little before 4 pm (they preparing to close) but Google had closing time as 5 pm. Ordered latte macchiato and coffee which were good. Also ordered a lemon pound cake but it was a bit hard and it tasted like the plastic wrapping it was wrapped with. The macarons were good.
Very contemporary style. The coffee was just the way I like it. It was on the walking distance from Riverwalk and State house.
A very nice, very cool coffee house. Food was delicious and coffee was great and they have a great staff as well! Support this small business because they deserve it.
Love this place! Great standard menu plus delicious seasonal items. Staff is super friendly. This is the coffee shop I recommend whenever someone visits Providence.
Thanks to the “family” at Sydney’s. You all are amazing people, offering amazing coffee and goodies with a ? smile!!
I paid $16 today for coffee & a sandwich. I asked for a cup of tap water, and the staff told me a cup of water costs $0.50. I was told cups are expensive. You've got to be kidding! We support all local places; those values do not match a community's local businesses. Good food doesn't cut it these days. A Challenge to the Owner Pay your employees a minimum of $20 an hour, and I will gladly pay $.50 for a glass of water. Suppose it's a waste issue, lots of excellent recycling solutions, or using ceramic glass cups. The expensive cup cost to gouge from your customers is Not an Excuse.
One of my fav breakfast spots in Rhode Island. Check out their insta profile!
Yum! Yum! Yum! We came to Providence for a couple hours to say we'd been to Rhode Island and stumbled upon this place. We feel so lucky and wish we could visit this place often! We got the sweet toast and avocado today. The sweet toast had the perfect sweetness without going overboard (and I'm picky about sweet) and the avocado toast with the local R.I. fried egg was so fresh and yummy! Like straight from the farm! Man, next time I'm nearby, I'll be heading to this place!
Tried this place out for the first time. None of the workers were wearing masks, and no apparent option for curbside pickup. Went in because I really wanted a coffee, but I won’t be back. (correction: apparently there is a way to order for curbside pickup)
