Delightful cafe! They have a fun menu and their stuff is really good. I love their sandwiches and feel they use high-quality bread, cheese, and other ingredients. They also have great pastry offerings including vegan pastries (I'm not a vegan but I am very picky since my mom baked for my family all the time). I moved to Providence about a year ago and wish I'd discovered them sooner! Also LOVE that they offer composting inside.
Check it out!Overall the place gets 5 stars and 4 for food.Coffee was really good. You can tell they use a high quality bean and brew the coffee at the correct temps.Location is great. Right around the corner from the Omni.Staff was super friendly and kind.Breakfast sandwich was very tasty but nothing unique.Cozy cafe!
I randomly popped in here on my way to the library during a visit to Providence, and I felt compelled to leave a review because it was literally the BEST iced latte with oat milk I've ever had. I have had MANY iced lattes with oat milk. I was in shock and devastated that I did not come here sooner. No idea why it was so good, but props to everyone involved with its creation. The lox bagel sandwich was also very delicious. This whole place slaps. 10/10.
Great sandwich! Wonderful staff, too!
It’s March 20th and we are visiting from out of town (NY to be exact). Vaccine mandates have ended yet after our order was taken, we were asked for our papers. Since mandates have been dropped, we thought no need to bring papers along. Needless to say, our family was denied serve today for not showing our medical records to a kid behind the counter. If your medical privacy is important to you (especially since mandates have ended), avoid this place.
This is a wonderful place in the heart downtown Providence! While walking around the area I noticed the place, walked inside and it smelled delicious! I ordered a macchiato coffee and two red-velvet cannolis filed with vanilla cream and a vegan sandwich. Everything was perfection!I noticed that they have space for recyclables and organic trash. And despite the place being small it can hold enough people inside and still keep its charm and sweet smell. I must also add that the cashier was very courteous and helpful. I will be back for more!
We had two lovely experiences here, and each one was amazing. They have great service, great latte's, and a few vegan pastries as well. If your adventurous definitely give their Taro Lavender Latte as well, with a shot of espresso if you want some caffine. Thank you for the great experiences.
Coffee shops are not easy places to run, while a coffee itself is thought of as water and roasted beans by some, the operations end of it can be extremely exhausting. Factors like how products come and go from the place, customer service, and seating are considered.Small Point Cafe is a coffee shop that has incredible dedication to it's craft, not just through the coffee, but the baked goods (of which one was gluten-free), and their waste management efforts.First, Small Point has a big impact on the street it's located on, Westminster St. Being in the downtown area can be tough because there is a lack of coffee shops that want to serve customers past 2:00 PM. Downtown PVD is a place that is lacking some forms of investment, as foot traffic dramatically decreases after working hours. Yet, Small Point is part of a group of small businesses that make Westminster a welcoming stroll in winter and summer. There are trendy thrift stores, vibrant restaurants, and a shoe store that sells collectibles. Further down the street is a bookshop. Small Point accentuates all these businesses by providing pedestrians with a wonderful coffee experience.Second, they deal with waste by sorting out what is trash, recyclables, and organics for composting. A good business with an eye to sustainability will need to consider composting, because it diverts waste from a landfill and turns food waste into a viable product. Small Point does this.If you are jonesing for a city stroll, and an experience that costs less than $10. Walking through the downtown, and stopping by this place, is highly recommended. Like any city, it has growing pains, so please be aware of your surroundings. That awareness, though, will help you take in the awesome beauty of the streets, the architecture, and a majority of the people that are friendly, including the wonderful employees of Small Point Café.
Best quiche I have ever had. Jasmine Green tea was super strong and smelled wonderful. A little tight for COVID times, but very cozy. Staff was very engaging and helpful.
Super cute, delicious food and drinks, friendly staff
