I think it’s ok. The providence maki was tasty. The lunch special unagi was generous with the eel. It came with pickle which I liked. Unfortunately it was a weird temperature- not warm nor cold. It took over 25 minutes to prepare. There is no wifi inside and the interior is quite run down and dark. The restaurant could use some more light and sunshine.
Literally the best Japanese food in providence. It’s my favorite restaurant, everything is fresh and delicious.
Good sushi however not worth the terrible service. Staff is probably the rudest staff I’ve ever came across. They speak to you as if you’re not paying for your food. They rolls their eyes and look and sound annoyed when asked questions. The dining isn’t open yet and the outdoor tables are all taken up by delivery drivers. No consideration to customers at all. Would never again spend a penny at this business. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, there’s more sushi places in town.
First and foremost I understand Covid, but c'mon open up the dining room!!!! First impressions a real let down!!!

Food is good they are always on top of their sushi. The two stars are simply for the service. Host and wait staff are rude and dismissive.

Sakura was once really good and an awesome spot to get sushi, now it’s just another place serving up questionable sushi that’s gonna make you sick. Skip it, there’s other places in providence that you can get better food at.
