The food here is not acceptable. My friends and I went for dinner together here. We ordered the fried chicken in two different flavors, one flavor the whole batch was fully burnt and the lady working there served it to us. The stir fry noodles turns out to be stir fry ramen? It taste like ramen but without the soup…. The food here just did not feel restaurant quality, the atmosphere and decor inside is also not up to par. Would never come back again. Would give 0 star if I could
Ramen was evidently authentic and made in store. The curry broth was delicious. The pork buns are to die for. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
The food was so salty that it actually felt like pouring table salt on my tongue. We barely ate any of it after sampling each dish and finding the salt so overwhelming. Trashed it and accepted the money we spent was wasted.
I am new in the area, so I had a vegetable ramen and Gyoza delivered by Dropbox! I was floored when I saw my receipt. Dropbox fee, handling fee, and other fees my bill was over forty dollars! Then I got to the food, despite the fact I had ordered extra bokchoy it was not delivered. The ramen was very salty, having assorted vegetables in ramen besides just mushroom stems and cabbage too much to expect? Then I got to the Gyoza and it was hard and crunchy dried out and inedible!Never giving this place another chance! Very disappointed!
Pork bun was good, portion is for only one pork bun, I had the spicy beef and it was bland until the waiter brought over some sauce to thicken it. My friend’s food tasted like actual cat litter and still cost 18.50.We walked in and were the only people there, no music, just deafening silence. They were set up for a bunch of take out orders yet at no time did anyone ever come in to pick something up. In fact we were begging for someone else to come in and sit down just so we didn’t feel so awkward. The person taking orders was also the only person cooking and I felt like I heard a microwave beep several times. The item I got was missing toppings from the menu and the beef my friend got looked totally different from the menu also. I kid you not when I say it tasted like cat litter so strongly I had to spit it out when I tried my friend’s meal. From the outside this place looks closed and maybe it should be.
best ramen in PVD, absolutely no question. the spicy chicken ramen is a standout, but the shredded pork rice bowl and the fried chicken sando are also killer. everything is delicious- do yourself a favor and go here!
At first, we weren’t sure they were open. I persisted against my boyfriend and we were seated by a nice woman. The pork buns were delicious. The smoothies are nice too and they compliment a hot fatty ramen surprisingly well! Now the ramen, my boyfriend got the tan dan and I got the shoyu. At first, I thought it didn’t have a lot of flavor. Eating the sides, then the noodles, then the broth again. It’s subtle, but has actually has nice depth. It’s really fatty too! ? the real bowl with a POPPING flavor was the Tan dan bowl! If you want something more intense, definitely go with that. The shoyu is more for a nice comforting, simple bowl. ? give it a shot!
I wasn’t thrilled with the food or experience - did not have the richness of high quality ramen, and the atmosphere was unsettling. We had the spicy beef and tan Dan ramen, neither was very unique or very flavorful. they brought out a cold hard boiled egg halfway through the meal, that was confusing.
My friend & I had a great experience! It was a quiet evening in Providence when we stopped in (we aren't from the area), but we really wanted some Ramen real bad. The RC Ramen certainly hit the spot! Perfect noodles, flavorful broth, and the Thai Tea was fantastic. Paula took great care of us.I liked that you order online directly from the table, it's very convenient. Give this place a try.If you do, tell Paula that we said Hi and will be back :)
After getting amazing recommendations from friends to visit, we went this past Saturday. Hoping to beat the rush, we went soon after opening at 5. It was empty and stayed empty through our dining. We ordered the Paitan and Shouyu ramens, egg, seaweed salad and fried chicken as sides. The dishes came promptly but we were massively surprised. The ramens were watery, the Paitan tasted like water with chili oil. The sides were thrown in, and it all tasted old. The fried chicken was the freshest of it all. With the reviews and the recs, we really hope this is a one off, but it was probably one of the worst ramens we have had!
