Food and service were top notch, Henry was amazing!
Our server was great. The food was excellent. We will definitely return.
We were sat at a very small table indoors and had a very nice meal. Our server was slow and made the dinner last much longer than it needed to but the food and berrie tart was very good. It is loud so if looking for a quite, romantic evening, sit outside. All in all we enjoyed our meal.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner although the noise level is quite high when busy. Donât let that stop you - itâs the sound of people enjoying themselves!!
One of my favorite restaurants in Providence! Federal Hill area is an easy walk to area attractions including FireWater events. Order the any of the steak entrees and you will not be disappointed! Desserts were delicious too.
It was a wonderful experience, the food was awesome and the waitstaff where excellent.
We visited Parkside for dinner celebrating my wife's birthday. Our waiter Joe greeted us and made us feel right at home, including our 13yo son and 10yo daughter. He took his time to walk us through the menu and was incredibly knowledgeable. The food came out rather quickly and was outstanding. My wife had Lemon Chicken, my son had the Bistro Burger, my daughter had the grilled pizza and I had the Rotisserie Pork. All of us were very happy with our meals. Great food, great service and a pretty space. Well done!
Our reaction may have been somewhat skewed; we ordered dishes offered for the local Restaurant Week 'deal,' which may not have represented Parkside at its best. Nonetheless, we felt that the quality of the offering should have been a bit better. The appetizers we both ordered. fried oysters, were simply that: fried, and unaccompanied by any condiments. My 'Asian' duck was adequate but was somewhat tough and bland; I've had better in ordinary Chinese restaurants. My companion had as her entree a pasta dish which was a bit more flavorful, but that could easily have been made at home. The dessert we both ordered, panna cotta, which came in plastic cups (!) had almost no flavor at all. The atmosphere reminded me more of an lower-echelon Italian 'joint, than what I might have fairly expected from a place at this location and price level (this based on a cursory glance at the regular menu.) I don't feel comfortable giving any place a negative review, but I do want to be honest.
We visited Parkside after a long absence. We used to always order the rotisserie bacon wrapped filet which was always outstanding. The first disappointment came when our server told us that it was no longer on the menu. So, we both ordered the rotisserie chicken and one with the spicy lemon cashew sauce. We ordered the dumplings appetizer and a peach blossom specialty drink which were both excellent. When the chicken arrived, it looked great but was very bland. The sauce was pretty tasteless. We were really hoping for a great meal but didnât get it at this visit. Since this was once our favorite restaurant, weâll give it another try. Hopefully our food choice wonât disappoint.
Hugh menu with lots of variety. Ricky, our waiter was attentive and enjoyable. We'll be back to try some more dushes on their menu..
